Roka Projects is a premium residential renovation contractor serving Vancouver, West Vancouver, North Vancouver, and Burnaby. We specialize in kitchen renovations, bathroom renovations, full home renovations, home additions, basement renovations, structural work, and exterior renovations — managing every project from permits and planning through to construction and final walkthrough. We coordinate directly with our network of trusted architects, designers, and engineers, handling permit applications, trade scheduling, and construction execution so homeowners have a single point of accountability from the first site visit to the final inspection. No handoffs, no gaps, no chasing multiple contractors. Roka was founded by Tyler Thorne and Gord Green. Tyler holds a Red Seal Certificate of Qualification in Carpentry, a Bachelor of Construction Management from BCIT, and a graduate degree from UBC — and managed large-scale commercial and residential development projects across Vancouver before co-founding Roka. Gord brings 34 years of hands-on construction experience across custom home building and renovation on the North Shore and West Vancouver, and holds his own Red Seal Certificate of Qualification in Carpentry. At Roka, Gord is on site on every project — the person who knows whether something can actually be built the way it's drawn. Every project is executed by certified trades, backed by full insurance, and supported by a client portal that gives homeowners daily site reports, photos, budget updates, and schedule tracking in real time.
