We hired Steve and his team to install a few exhaust fans with timers in our bathrooms. Steve was a very nice guy; however, his work was mediocre. In the attic above the one fan, the exhaust tubing wasn’t even connected. My husband had to fix it. For the exhaust fan in the upstairs bathroom, while cleaning out our attic my husband noticed that the tubing from the fan was run to the narrow corner of the attic blowing right into the insulation (instead of being vented through the roof). As a result, we now have a mold problem in the area where the exhaust was left to run. How disappointing.

If we could give Steve more than five stars, we would. He deserves them. In more than 40 years as an owner of homes and commercial buildings I have never come across such a fine craftsman. His skills are extraordinary whether he is doing carpentry, tile work, or any other kind of construction. When we moved into Doylestown 13 years ago, it was our good luck to find Steve to do the many renovations and repairs needed by our new home. On his first job for us, Steve impressed us with his professionalism, courtesy, and fairness. Never did he leave things a mess. Over the years Steve has replaced doors, windows, part of the roof, siding, renovated a bathroom and a kitchen. Every job was first rate. And Steve has a good aesthetic, too. Steve has our complete confidence. Do yourself a favor and hire Steve when you need a contractor/carpenter.

Steve Barci has been our to go contractor for the past 35 years. Last year, Steve & his skilled crew completed a family room, power room and hallway renovation. He answers your emails or phone calls promptly which doesn't happen with some other contractors.

We hired Steve to install double entry doors on our walk-out basement. Previously there had been an old overhead garage door there. It's an older house so there were a few unknowns in the demolition, including an oddly built-up and low header. S.B. responded quickly to the original query and gave a professional estimate in a timely manner. He walked us through ordering the right doors, stayed in touch during the process, scheduled the installation promptly, showed up when he said he was going to show up and completed the job professionally and with pride in his work. We're very happy and hope to count on Steve for future projects.
