My husband and I looked long and hard for a company that could replace the mid century metal window frames with real wood in our 1928 Spanish hacienda-style house. Aside from the window frames themselves, this involved tearing away unpainted stucco from the exterior walls, and then carefully replastering so that new blended with the old and we didn't have to replaster the entire outside of the house. Tom and Dennis Scheer went that extra mile in attention to detail, and took great effort to find, for example, exactly the right paints to match previously painted exterior wood, exactly the right matching grout color for the exterior painted frames, etc. The finished job looks wonderful, insulates the house beautifully (they took care to explain the different types of glass available - something we knew nothing about), and pulled together the look of the exterior and we continue every day to be delighted with the grace and beauty - and practicality! - of our gorgeous custom-made windows. Both Tom and Dennnis and everyone they contracted to work on our house were professional, efficient and speedy. The whole experience was a real pleasure.

Scheer Construction replaced our 60 year old steel frame sliding glass doors and windows. They helped me to select Pella windows and they worked with the Pella representative to design exactly the right replacement. The Scheer crew was skilled, polite and completed the project as promised.

I have had Scheer Construction do several remodels of various areas of my home. At one time they even installed a recording studio in a facility that I owned. I always found their prices to be reasonable, service to be exceptional, and the quality of their work at the highest level.

I first used Scheer Contruction to build a pool and pool house on steep hillside property. I found them to be professional and the quality of their work excellent. I used them several times again for smaller remodel jobs inside my residence. I would highly recommend them.
