We contacted Doug Schilling one year ago to do a gut rehab to the downstairs of our condo. New kitchen with custom cabinets, new floors, new windows, new sliders, new fireplace treatment, custom cabinets in the living room, custom cabinets in the hall, repair of earthquake damage to the walls, changing textured walls to smooth, painting, new window sill treatments, new stairway banister treatment and new carpet on the stairs. Doug is an awesome contractor who hears your vision and is able to solidify it. His cost estimate was right on, his estimate on the time to complete the project was dead accurate and he and his team were done on time. Best of all is the team that works with him. His cabinetmaker, his tile installer, his counter and backsplash installer, his painters, his plumbers, his electricians, his workmen are all incredible artists and craftsman on their own. The combined work of Doug and all these artists yields more than excellent results. We will be working again with Doug and his crew to rehab our two upstairs bedrooms and baths. We hired Schilling for a project at our Kamuela location. They completed the work on time, in a professional manner and cleaned up after themselves once complete. They had to build shelving and cabinets to match what was already there. The match is 100% and we are definitely planning to using them again for any of our Big Island Projects. Doug and his staff is excellent and does quality work. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a contractor.

Schilling provided contracting services for our bathroom and guestroom remodels, as well as extensive repair of wood rot, window, door, and siding replacement on our exterior, and has begun consulting with us on our kitchen remodel. Schilling has also providing contracting services for repair of wood rot, window replacement and painting of exterior of building for our office condominium building, as well as the complete remodel of our office unit in that building. Doug Schilling is extremely knowledgeable, trustworthy, fair, delivers excellent results on time and in budget. Some of these projects were completed in 2009. The condo building is currect for 2014.
