SCW Creative Renovations

We recently purchased a condominium and needed a bookcase/cabinet as a room divider to separate our living/dining room. We hired Steve the owner of SCW contractors. He and his partner Mike were so incredible and very dependable. They are a private owned company. They do top notch work and Steve was great to work with. He is extremely professional, very smart and has a creative eye. I can’t say enough about the project he constructed for us. It was done and completed on budget to our exact specifications and ON TIME. It was constructed like a fine piece of furniture and designed perfectly for our needs. If you have a home project that needs a top notch contractor who gets it, call, and this company will take care of your family’s improvements. We highly recommend this company and can’t say enough about them.

Steve and his team did an excellent job on our bathroom remodel. It was a complete gut and the end result is exactly what we envisioned! Steve also built our vanities, which are beautiful and high quality. We trusted his experience, appreciated his regular communication and check-ins and enjoyed the collaboration process. He has a strong work ethic and an excellent end result is truly important to him. The project went slightly over budget, mostly due to our design changes from the original estimate and some unexpected electrical work which is to be expected in an older home. The project took longer than expected, due to a delay caused by the person installing the tile. But it was worth waiting for! (In one of the photos a sconce glass shade is missing-now have the replacement shade installed!) Our 1962 ugly duckling bathroom is now the nicest room in our house and we look forward to our next project with Steve and SCW Creative Renovations.

SCW Creative Renovations, LLC did a complete renovation of both our kitchen and our basement. Steve Wasseluk and his crew are simply the most professional, reliable, trustworthy, and diligent contractors we have ever seen. Steve is a truly talented craftsman who can build anything you request, from a vanity to a house, in the style you like. As part of our renovations, Steve built us a custom sliding barn door for our kitchen pantry, a built-in entertainment center, and an amazing reclaimed lumber basement bar. He is considerate and unimposing in our home, arrives when he says he’s going to arrive, works consistently and efficiently, keeps us informed of the progress, and leaves us with a beautiful space at a reasonable price. We couldn’t ask for anything more, and highly recommend him.

Steve does amazing work. He built us a pair of beautiful custom built-in shelves for our living room and added two windows as well. They are stunning. He completed our project in under three days! He is so easy to work with, and really helped us get what we were looking for. His prices are very reasonable for the quality of work that he does. I would recommend him to anyone.

SCW Creative Renovations created the most beautiful reclaimed wood table for me. It is an 8' farmhouse style table with trestle legs and a matching bench. Steve hand-picked reclaimed boards from a specialty wood shop and designed the table with my specifications in mind. It was finished quickly and he sent photos throughout the process so that I could keep an eye on how things were going. I recently moved and had to take the table apart and then put it back together - Steve gave me simple directions that made the process very easy. Everyone who has seen the table compliments it - it's a keeper for sure! I highly recommend this company for sophisticated and creative woodworking projects.
