Kalven and his crew recently completely renovated the entire main floor of my house plus a laundry and bathroom in the basement. This included new hardwood and tile flooring in all rooms, new kitchen, bathroom, trim and doors, removing the popcorn ceiling in all rooms. painting all rooms, pot lighting, light fixtures and upgraded electrical service. I couldn't be happier with the end result! The quality of workmanship and attention to detail is top notch and the project was completed within the timeframe specified in the contract. Communication was outstanding and unlike anything I have ever experienced when dealing with a contractor. From the initial meeting to discuss the scope of work and throughout the project, Kalven was quick to respond to any questions I had. Any areas of concern were brought to my attention immediately and we worked to find a solution. As I was away during the first phase of the project, Kalven would send me progress videos every day. Kalven and crew were always on time every day and the work site was left clean at the end of the day. They were professional, highly skilled, friendly, accommodating and very easy to communicate with. This was also true of any sub-contractors Kalven brought on-site. I am so pleased that I went with Seilis Construction and am thrilled with my newly renovated home. I highly recommend them. They really set the bar high and deliver an outstanding product. You won't be disappointed if you choose them for your next project.

Amazing work by Seilis Construction on our home. Very detailed and tedious work prepping our exterior house/windows with new rigid insulation, strapping, trim, etc.. A new entryway/mudroom was also designed and built, adding a new closet, tile, and entryway for a future door. The crew was prompt, friendly, cleaned up the site well every day, and has allowed us to keep our next contractors on schedule for the rest of our home Reno’s. Great work to the team!

We contracted with Seilis Construction to build a bathroom in our basement. We couldn’t have asked for it to have turned out any better. Kalven was so patient with the changes that had to be made by us several times before the project even started. He gave us great input on how to best utilize the space that would meet my husband’s mobility issues. Jake, who we dealt with on a daily basis, was exemplary in his work ethic, arrived before 8 AM every morning, worked all day, cleaned up at the end of each day, and his craftsmanship was spot on. The room looks like it was always meant to be there. Living in a home that is being renovated, even just a bathroom from a cement floor raw basement could be very stressful, but Kalven & Jake took ALL of the stress out of the experience. I would have them back in my home anytime if I need any further renovations done and I would 100% recommend them for any of your renovation needs. We were incredibly fortunate to be referred to Seilis Construction when our previous contractor had to cancel our project at the last minute to renovate our cottage in Muskoka. Kalven and his crew worked throughout the winter on a challenging worksite to create a superbly rebuilt cottage, from the inside out. Seilis Construction did the work in my home like they were the home owners. They built a new bedroom in the basement and made a large bedroom that used to be 2 rooms back to 2 rooms. The did a fantastic job at matching trim and paint colors for the work on the existing room changes and the suggestions for lights, trim, windows in the new room built was very helpful in achieving the end results. Everything was completed on time and budget. As i said in the beginning , the work was done like they were going to be living in the rooms rather than just building them for us.

Seilis Construction design team caught us by surprise when they suggested we expose the previously hidden fireplace chimney bricks in our 2nd floor Master Bedroom. We knew the brick would look amazing when painted, but we didn't realize the bricks would absorb heat from the fire below, and radiate heat into the Master throughout the bitter winter cottage nights.
