5 Reviews for Sharett Contracting
$10,000 - $49,999
There are few contractors that I would trust to do a significant remodeling job without my being present to check the work regularly. Sharett is now one of those. Sharett quoted a fair price, then they worked hard, conquered every unforseen problem that arose, stayed within the budget, met the schedule, and found a few areas to go 'above and beyond'. I strongly recommend them and would choose them again in an instant.

I highly recommend Sharett Contracting for any work that you need done on your apartment/home or business. I had a complete renovation done on my apartment. In most of Israel, contractors bid low just to get a job and then add costs later -- a very dishonest practice which is sadly the norm in Israel. David is different from all of these other contractors. What he bids is what it costs! And if you ask him for advice, his answers will be for your benefit -- not for his. He is completely honest and adds nothing to what was bid. Don't be fooled by other contractor's low bids -- go with David. In addition to spending many hours driving me around to choose tiles, counter material, cabinet grains, windows, paint colors, etc., David worked with me to produce out-of-the ordinary designs that would fit the needs of me and my family such as installation and wiring of US electrical outlets, sliding doors, creation of various built-in closets and shelves, overhead storage, external bathroom sinks, and a laundry room that could accommodate a laundry tub. He also modified the existing structures in such a way as to use every millimeter of possible space to fit my requested floor plan while I am certain that other contractors would have given me less space to use based on the existing previous structures. The final work is superb!

Sharett Contracting has assisted me with both commercial and residential projects, all of which were completed “on time” and with the utmost quality. The professionalism with which the projects were approached, designed and executed gave me the confidence for a successful outcome. The final products were on budget and awesome!

I hired this company for two projects approximately 10 years ago. Their work was finished well, on time, and to a high standard. About two years ago, they completed a smaller job, again in a timely and complete way. In this part of the world, taking the high bid or low bid on a job, often means work that has to be torn up and re-done. I have experienced much frustration with other contractors but never had this problem with Sharett. I recommend them for quality sub-contracting and responsible supervision.

We hired Dave Sharett to do extensive renovations on the triplex apartment we purchased in Jerusalem in 2010. Dave and his crew did a superior job, and we can't recommend him highly enough. He has a good old-fashioned American work ethic, attention to details, and friendly attitude that you rarely find these days. They completely overhauled the plumbing and wiring in the apartment, put in new flooring, a new kitchen, new doors and door frames, shelves and closets. Everything looks beautiful. This is a contractor you can trust - a rare find!
