When we bought our acreage the previous owner had cut a lot of corners in the construction process to save money. To transform the house into our dream home seemed like an overwhelming task. We asked Justin to come walk through the house with us, to listen to our ideas, and he offered insight, ideas, and possible cost for all our projects. He put our worries at ease and was excited to tackle the challenges. We hired Shoemaker Construction for all our renovations. The process was effortless on our end! Justin took charge as a general contractor, coordinating with the plumbers, electricians, and murder. Justin's passion for millwork, attention to detail, and years of experience brought all our ideas to fruition. He was upfront about cost, the timeline we were looking at, and was easygoing. We were so impressed with the dedication and quality of work we received that we are always happy to recommend Shoemaker Construction for any size job.

Over the past 10 years, Justin has helped us transform our house into our dream home and has never disappointed. From installing a new banister to an addition of a bedroom, full kitchen remodel and most recently a complex bathroom/laundry room addition, all projects have exceeded our expectations. We had Justin complete a home remodel with a bedroom changed to a bathroom; bathroom turned into a walk-in closet; and an added bedroom to our lower level. Justin did a wonderful job taking our ideas and bringing them to life. He had great ideas and was patient with us in our decision making. He went with the flow when modifications were needed. Justin was respectful, timely, meticulous in his work, and provided an accurate cost estimate within our price range. All I wanted on my house was a sunroom , a lovely room full of windows with a fireplace. I asked Shoemaker construction to do the job for me . It is so professionally built strong and well done especially at this time with the virus going around. I feel like I’m sitting outside and enjoying my beautiful room. Highly recommend! You won't find anyone more detailed and meticulous in the construction industry than Justin. He built my home for me 5 years ago and I was working out of state at the time and he kept me in the loop on everything in a very timely manner.
