Simple Man Remodeling

My husband and I were looking to replace a 28 year old wooden deck of approximately 500 sq ft. with Trex and aluminum railing. We had several estimates and were taken aback by the price quotes (we had calculated the approximate material price for the project ourselves including hidden fasteners, connectors, and added wood for a Trex build). Fortunately, a friend was having her deck redone in Trex by Simple Man Construction. Knowing that she is very particular about workmanship and being able to see her finished deck helped us to solidify our decision to go with Simple Man. Her deck was beautiful. Rodney Powers, the owner, responded quickly and gave us an itemized quote within a few days. He informed us about how the project would proceed. Communication was good and the price was reasonable. Within about 3 weeks, Rodney sent out Nick to oversee and basically build our deck from his head knowledge and years of experienced carpentry work. He is one of those rare individuals who still takes pride in his work and gives attention to detail. He and several amazing helpers worked hard and cleaned up after the work day. They were super nice to work with and if we were not pleased with something they were willing to fix it. Our deck was completed in about 6 weeks. We are very pleased with the finished project. We can now enjoy our deck and look forward to not having to upkeep any wood! We would highly recommend Simple Man for any deck project!

They got back to me right away with a quote and started work soon after. They were very professional and did a good job. If they were running late they called to let me know. Some people just leave you hanging and you end up wasting a whole day. I really appreciated that they kept me informed of their schedule. They were also very reasonable in their price. Other companies quoted at least double what they asked.
