Mario and Travis were the best we could ask for. we stayed exactly on budget. most of all these builders did amazing work we couldnt have had a better company.

Zero rating for Solid Rock. If your project has any mild complexity to it, I would not recommend hiring them. We brought them on board in 2019 to do our exterior remodel for our cabin and they started out seemingly competent and they helped us price out the entire exterior remodel and wood siding selection. Things however quickly fell apart showing their inexperience, lack of planning and organization, and lack of detail when it came to communication, putting together complete estimates, ordering from suppliers, hiring subs, following a schedule or building according to plans... literally all of reasons you hire a GC. It's a shame because they are nice guys, but I could write a book about how bad they were in the handling of our project. They eventually walked away, blaming it on their current workload and Covid, leaving us to find another contractor late in the spring 2020 since we only have a few months in the summer to build. In hindsight, I'm glad they walked away despite leaving us in a stressful situation with a project full of errors, wrong door sizes, extra temporary doors that were never installed, no roof, and bad framing throughout. Finding someone to take it over was a challenge (and it cost us a lot of $$), but we got lucky with our framer that fixed everything to get it to code, and a roofer to dry everything in. In the end, my husband and I GC'd the remodel of our home. I just wish I hadn't wasted my time with these guys at the start.

What a true relief to find quality and reliable work in such an unpredictable field! Both Nathan and Steve were not only very good and what they do, but they were easy to talk to, and always took our best interests to heart. Change orders never seemed like a bother, and more importantly, they very professionally steered us in the right direction when we may have had our own, uneducated ideas. Quality, trustworthy, and reliable!

Very professional and easy to work with. they converted a basement living room into a Master bedroom and bathroom. Stayed on budget and on schedule - had a great experience and would definitely recommend!
