We could not be any happier with our totally remodeled bathroom. It was a complete gut job, right down to the bare studs, with new plumbing, all lighting, fixtures, vanity, floor, etc. Yossi was a total pleasure to work with. He stayed on time and on budget and made money saving suggestions without compromising the design or quality of work. The work was meticulous; edges, joints, seams, everything aligned perfectly. And a bonus - Yossi is a true gentleman, a class act. We only wish we had known him when we did earlier remodeling projects, none of which matched his level of quality nor ease of getting through the whole process.

We absolutely love our new bathroom and Yossi too! Contractors tend to have a bad reputation because so many of them prove to be flakes who cut corners and lack ethics. We've had our share. Yossi has proven that there are still wonderful contractors who are true craftsmen with a real understanding of doing a job as if it was their own. Better still, he is on the job doing the work along with his crew opposed to just checking in like most contractors. He will even spend his own money if it means producing the best result. He is knowledgeable, talented, honest, ethical, perfection-conscious, and a wonderful person. Obviously, WE LOVE HIM!

I have used Yossi several times over the last 12 years. He is honest, punctual, fastidious, and does the best work of any contractor I have ever used. He did a wonderful job on a complete remodel of my Kitchen. Most recently, he completely remade my master bath with gorgeous, intricate tile work, using Carrera marble. I simply cannot recommend him highly enough!

Yossi did an outdoor patio project for my husband and I, and we LOVE IT!! He gave us a beautiful stamped concrete deck with a redwood built in bench and pergola, along with a built in concrete fire pit. We had an idea of exactly what we wanted and Yossi delivered! It was a pleasure working with him. He's a professional, knows his crafts and gives you high quality work. He even knows when to talk some sense into you when you start to take the project off track, he truly cares about you as his client and wants you to be happy and stay on budget. We love our new outdoor living space. We added some cushions, curtains, plants and blue fire glass and are spending more time than ever outside loving our new space. Yossi came highly recommended from two of our neighbors, for whom he did extensive work including a kitchen remodel and garage conversion. We saw his work and were impressed. Promptly after our first meeting, he gave us a fair and detailed estimate for a large remodel project. As first time house owners, he patiently and thoroughly walked us through the process and welcomed our input. We gave him the job and have had no regrets. Not only was the majority of the work completed by Yossi himself working with an assistant or two, he closely supervised the few subcontractors he used. When we ran into a plumbing problem, he honorably offered to hire an outside company and split the bill with us. He stands by his work, does it himself, and takes pride in it. I will gladly speak to any of his prospective clients to sing his praises without hesitation.

Yossi came up with fantastic ideas and designs and implemented them beautifully for our outdoor patio area. Not only are we immensely enjoying our outdoor space but the value of our home increased dramatically. Over the past 12 years, I have worked with Yossi at SY Construction on two majors renovations and numerous smaller projects for two houses. These projects have included full kitchen renovations, bathroom remodels, office installations, outdoor kitchens and patios among others. Yossi's work is excellent and his rates are fair and reasonable; this goes without saying. The more important thing to know about Yossi is that he is the most honest, trustworthy and dependable contractor you will ever work with. Yossi is the only contractor that cares more about your project and your money than you do. Yossi is always looking for the best solution to any problem and he stands behind his work, always willing to come back and address the issues that arise with any major project. I am an executive at an entertainment company and I know few people more demanding than I am. I would recommend Yossi for any project you have - big or small.

Yossi remodelled our downstairs bathroom, taking it from a horrible 80's glam look back to something more appropriate for a 1920's style house, with a slight modern touch or two. His tile guy was outstanding, handling a lot of detail with aplomb. The end result, to us, is stunning, and we are extremely happy with how everything turned out.

We have done 4 major remodels with other contractors. Yossi of Sy Construction is the BEST contractor we have ever had!!! He is competent, professional, honest, creative talented and finishes the job on time. We HIGHLY recommend him. Can't wait to have another project so we can use his talents again.

Yossi Alkaslasi of SY Construction is a professional, honest and reasonable contractor. We just recently finished our third project with them, a bathroom and closet remodel. In addition, SY Construction did a major remodel when we first moved into our home including the kitchen, replacing all the windows, installing hardwood floors, and resurfacing the walls; and, more recently, installing a new patio cover.
