Tim Owen is a consummate professional general contractor with incredible building ability and a real sense of dedication to perfection. He enjoys what he does and I have had only great experience with the work he has done to improve my house. Tim’s prices are fair and his work is excellent!

I would like to commend Tim and his crew for doing a great job so far. I hired him for a big project of renovating my bungalow style home. When completed it will be approximately 2000 sq feet. Tim has great communication skills and is very approachable. His crew is professional and prompt. I recommend Tim for any project big or small. I am very pleased with his work.

Tim removed our old hot tub from our deck and rebuilt the deck space. We now have lots of usuable space and are enjoying our deck! He and his team were very professional, polite and personable! We will definitly use him for any future construction needs, large or small.

Tim Owen renovated our front porch and did an excellent job. He finished on time at the price quoted, and his workmanship exceeded our expectations. Tim was on site each day and kept us informed on all steps of the process. His subcontractors: brick mason, carpenters, painter and electrician were professional, courteous and skilled; they cleaned up each day as if the project were complete. He did outstanding work and the neighbors are still talking about the dramatic improvement.

Tim helped us update our newly purchased 1965 home. The kitchen, living room, and master bathroom were gutted. He opened 2 walls to improve the flow of the house. The laundry room was moved from the kitchen to the second floor, the old kitchen laundry room was outfitted into a pantry, and the old attic entry was replaced with an energy efficient attic pull-down door. The kitchen was updated with new drywall, insulation, ceiling, baseboards/trim, hardwood floors, cabinets, granite counter tops, sink, tile backsplash, new can and pendent lights, and custom designed built-in kitchen bench. He designed the pantry into a very functional space. The living room was updated with new hardwood floors, ceiling, drywall (to replace the old wood paneling), insulation, baseboards/trim, can lights, and custom built sliding barn door where a wall was opened. With only a picture, he procured a new sliding glass door that we later learned was custom built. The master bathroom was updated with an enlarged walk-in shower fully tiled from floor to ceiling, frameless glass doors, wainscoting on the drywall, insulation, baseboards/trim, tile floors, pedestal sinks, and a custom shelf. He enclosed the door to the guest room, thus making converting the bath room from a Jack and Jill to a master bath. The laundry room was moved to the second floor by combining the linen closet and a secondary guest room closet. We interviewed many other contractors and Tim was the only contractor to find an appropriate space in the house for the laundry room. We planned to open a doorway between a hall and the formal living room but Tim proposed removing the wall completely creating a hallway into the room; this was something we didn't consider and this has made our house more open than I could have imagined. Tim and his crew are professional, creative, and flexible making the renovations more than we could have hoped for. He presented us with a detailed budget and worked with us to help it fit with what we could afford. He gave us assistance with products to purchase when requested and gave us a lot of helpful advice. They were a pleasure to work with, were clean, efficient, and respectful, and fixed any issues as they arose. Early in the renovation process, there was an issue with the electricity (the breaker box had to be moved). When he got the quote from the electrician he was working with, it was much higher than our original budget. He decided to take time to re-bid the project and found a very competent electrician to complete the project only going slightly over our original budget. We both said "this is exactly what I envisioned" when the renovations were completed. We have had so many people give us compliments on our renovations. Without much direction from us Tim made designed a barn door and kitchen bench that were exactly what we were hoping for.

Tim has done a lot of work for me prior to this job and he and his crew earned my respect and confidence. I am writing this review a year later because my husband was ill and passed away after the job was completed. Tim converted a plate glass side porch into a beautiful study fully insulated for year round use with low E, Crank open, maintenance free, exterior aluminum clad windows My house was built in 1925 and presented many challenges. Tim is very well educated and top notch in the planning and quality of work he does. He was very committed to improving energy efficiency which this side porch sorely needed. He also has an excellent eye for maintaining the original integrity of an old home. In this instance he spent some time driving around our neighborhood looking at other side porches common to our area and time period. Once his idea was born he shared pictures with me and thoroughly explained his design and plan. He had a better feel for what would enhance my home than I did. It was a difficult time for me dealing with my husbands Alzheimers Disease. Tim went out of his way to always greet my husband and treated him in a very dignified, respectful way. Tim was extremely professional but also one of the nicest people i have ever worked with. I also felt great comfort working with Tim's crew. The carpenter, electrician, plumber and HVAC people were all top notch. I trusted all of these workers and never hesitated to leave them alone in my home. All required inspections were accomplished with no problems. Everyone showed up to work on time as planned. They left my home and yard neat and clean. I had some prize old Camellias that lined the perimeter of this project. Tim and his crew took great care not to damage these bushes. The project was completed in a very timely manner. Tim provided a very reasonable estimate and provided good records with all his billing. The project ran over by $6,000.00 mainly because of things I added like the built in shelves and some other detail work. Tim discussed this with me very honestly and waited for my ok before he proceeded. His accounting and detailed billing helped me feel good about the extra cost. The finished project has greatly enhanced the beauty of my home and has added to its curb appeal. This room is now one of my 2 favorite rooms in my home; the other room being the back porch he remodeled for me earlier.
