I highly recommend Trojan Builders. Chris is a true Professional and a perfectionist with a keen eye for ensuring things are done right ! He stays on top of every aspect from start until finish . He has a great team of professional tradesmen who were all polite, clean and most of all highly skilled! I have done several large home projects in my years as a homeowner in Orange County and have seen the good , bad and ugly ..... Chris at Trojan Builders is certainly in a league of his own . If you want a project done right Chris is your man !

I absolutely love Chris (owner). We had to do an addition on our house and from the moment we signed the contract with him, he started to work diligently without wasting a minute. His group of subcontractors are highly professional and kept my house cleaned at all times. Chris worked hard to finish the project within the time he estimated and the results are stunning. We will definitely use him for our future projects!

Chris "nailed it" on our Mid Century Modern renovation/remodel in Dana Point. We purchased the home from the original owner and wanted to keep the MCM look. We met with a couple of other pros, but Chris was the only one who "got it". He was able to salvage a lot while adding updates. The scope of the project was to address the kitchen, turn the concrete slab into a finished floor, new fireplace stone veneer, new master bath, new concrete drive way/hardscape, and paint inside and out. We were really happy with his work, his sub contractors work and how much fun it actually was. A++++ job on restoring the kitchen cabinets and adding Quartz counters. A++++ on adding a concrete micro topping to our slab floor. We changed a lot as the job went on. Chris reeled us in from getting to creative and keeping us within our budget. Highly Highly recommend! And he has a great personality. You'll think you're on a reality show.

We were extremely pleased with Chris and the job he did for us. We reconstructed a kitchen, casual living room, guest bathroom, laundry room, put wood floors, crown molding and base boards throughout. Chris is an extremely detail oriented individual and was on the job virtually every day ensuring that his crews were efficient and prompt with their jobs. We lived in the home during construction with two toddler boys and Chris was very conscious about cleaning up every day before he and his crews left. He prioritizes doing the job right and to the highest quality, something we respected immensely. He works hard to do right by the client. We are already planning to get Chris lined up for Phase 2 of our home renovation. We just loved working with him.

QUALITY - CRAFTSMANSHIP - DETAIL Trojan Builders truly cares about their customers and doing a job with the highest level of craftsmanship and detail. I admit I am difficult to please, however Trojan Builders not only met my expectations but they absolutely impressed me with their attention to detail (and using the highest quality materials). I normally don't write this commentary's, however finding someone of this caliber is absolutely amazing in today's market. They are reasonably priced and a joy to work with!!!!!

Chris is a great problem solver (and we had a few). His workers showed up on time and cleaned up daily. We most appreciated his reliable communication: if there was to be a schedule change, we were notified in plenty of time. We love our new addition!

We hired Chris to do a 500sf second story addition to our house. His proposal was right in line with other contractors but more importantly we felt like he was going to be there when we needed him. They started the work on time, finished on time and on budget!! As an engineer who questions everything a contractor does Chris and his crew were always respectful and we always came to an agreement. Chris always says no problems only solutions and I couldn’t agree more.

We hired Trojan Builders because we needed multiple things done to our house. Scope of Project: Our house is 30 years old. We needed a new roof, new window frames and needed interior remodeling. The roof needed structural modifications to improve the flow of rainfall off of the roof. The new roof is now structurally sound with 50 year shingles. His crew installed new windows in the entire house. We needed to replace wood rot and stucco near the windows. He also completely remodeled our kitchen, all of our bathrooms, and all of the flooring in the house. The kitchen included all new granite countertops, center island with granite countertop. Installation and fitting of all new appliances with all new wood cabinets. Bathrooms included new wood cabinets with quartz countertops with new ‘walk in’ showers that included full tile and glass doors. During the project, we had him add extra work. We ended up having him put new stucco on the entire house. His crew repiped the plumbing in the entire house as well. Our start date to the date of final inspection took exactly 100 days. Communication and Coordination: Chris at Trojan coordinated the work flow very well. On a daily basis, we were advised of the work specialists that would be arriving and what they would be doing that day. When problems or unforeseen things came up, he explained solutions. He worked with our budget very well. He kept us informed of decisions that we would need to make to keep the work flowing. He supervised his subcontractors well making sure that there work was to the quality that both he and we expected. Final Finish: After the main work was complete, we took a welcome break from the daily routine of work being done at the house. We were able to settle into our new surroundings. We made a small iist of minor ‘fix it / modify it’ items. He brought his crew back for each ‘touch up’ item and fixed everything that we asked him to fix. We would recommend Trojan Builders to anyone that we know for remodel work. He did what we asked him to do and completed all of the work on time. We were very happy with the final results.

My husband and I had a great experience working with Chris. He was always in control, he shepherded us along in making decisions, he was collaborative and so easy to work with. He cared so much about pleasing us and giving us the best quality work. And, I am happy to say our house turned out amazing. We absolutely love it! It was even featured in Better Homes and Garden. I highly recommend Chris.

Trojan Builders 2016 remodel. Added 400 sq ft to a 2-story home. Now 5 bedrooms, office, plus dream kitchen. We completely changed 80% of the home - downstairs and upstairs - to an entertainers and chefs dream. We raised 3 kids and 1 exchange student here – and Trojan helped make this our home. Chris knows this business. He came highly recommended from another friend who used Trojan Builders as well. They are hard to please and they were very happy. We were also very very pleased and will do whatever to help Chris and his team. We started in May with discussions on concept, design, engineering, schedule and money. Within 1-2 meetings we knew Trojan was the company and Chris was the guy. Chris’s meetings are to the point, organized and efficient. We loved it. His contract was simple and payments were based on achieving milestones along the way. He added a lot to improve the concept. More importantly, he introduced us to some of his specialists who also did amazing work to improve the design. The project. We took most of our house down to the studs. We removed exterior walls upstairs and downstairs. We extended the house, removed walls, installed steel beams, and re-configured the rest of the space. We built an amazing chefs kitchen as well as bigger and better bedrooms and office upstairs. We also completely re-wired the whole house, and upgraded the HVAC system. Chris’ teams are FAST. We had daily communication and scheduling. Chris drives up in a racecar everyday and he knew every detail. He was on it. From demo day 1 to a major party that we threw – was 9 weeks. Finished. Amazing. Also, the job site was always clean. Chris demands a super clean and safe site. To add to the complexity, we were doing some of the work, and Trojan was doing most of the work. We coordinated well on the separation of duties. We also coordinated with changes/additions we wanted. As you go through this type of project, things come up. Chris was very direct with items that were in scope and those that were additions. Most were items that we changed/added to the project. We appreciated his respect for the business side of the relationship – and no surprises. The only issue we had was that we were faster than planned, and we needed to combine milestone payments, but that was not a bad situation for anyone. At the end of the project, we threw a thank-you BBQ for the crew. We spent 2 months with them everyday and they changed our lives and our kids lives. Thank you Trojan Builders.

Trojan Builders and Chris were a pleasure to work with and we had terrific results. Totally satisfied with all aspects of the project from conceptualizing to completion. Project involved total custom remodel of kitchen and three baths. Very professional, excellent workmanship, and job was completed on schedule.
