The only negative thing I can say is that our bathroom is the nicest room in the house and I want to spend all my time in there! Beautiful, thoughtful craftsmanship. Worked with us to stay on budget while still responding to the inevitable surprises that pop up when working on a 100+ year old home. Great communicator and very responsive. Highly recommend!

Our experience with U Name It Construction was quite positive in several ways over the course of a major home remodeling project. First, David Lincoln, the owner, is quite meticulous in the work he does, and he expects the same attention to detail from his subs. Second, he communicated well with us at every step of the process. The opening bid was clear about what was known and not known, including costs and timeline; we knew from the start that there were a number of projects in the queue ahead of us, and we were kept apprised as to our starting date as other worked progressed. As we worked through the project, communication about undiscovered conditions was immediate and well documented. None of the change orders came as a surprise, and the costing of them was reasonable. Third, David has a good design sense; he was very helpful in presenting design options for unusual spaces. He listened to our ideas, but offered good guidance on keeping the design clean in the oddly shaped spaces in out house. Though he has very clear ideas on what works and what doesn't, we never felt like it was his way or the highway. Fourth, throughout the project, as homeowners, we had a fair bit of agency, and we were always consulted on project direction, particularly when the eccentricities of an old house came into play and required unexpected choices. It was a genuinely collaborative effort. Fifth, David operates "by the book" - your project will not run afoul of the city or its inspectors. Any major remodel takes time and is disruptive. David and his crew made every effort to minimize disruption and keep the rest of our property clean and undamaged. Because they are so meticulous, the work of David and crew seemed to take a while, but the end result was worth the wait.

Last May a hail storm ripped through our neighborhood. We reported the incident to our insurance company and an adjuster examined the roof for damage. The assessment was that 52 shingles would need replacing. We contacted David Lincoln and he promptly responded and spent considerable time in documenting the hail damage. The report was submitted to the Insurance company and they agreed that a full roof replacement was required. We are delighted with the work U Name it did to replace our roof. Thanks David!

Echoing what everyone else has said: David is a pleasure to work with. He recently completed the updating of an en suite 3/4 bath. He gutted it: got rid of a dropped ceiling in the shower, installed radiant heating in the floor, replaced all the floor and wall tile, updated the lighting, and installed a new vanity. The footprint and layout didn’t change but now it seems bigger and brighter. David is detail-oriented with a good eye for esthetics and functionality. His suggestions were spot on. He did a great job of keeping me informed; I was out of the country for the last month of construction, but with texts, emails, and a phone call or two, I knew exactly what was happening. What a treat to return home to a bathroom that makes me feel like I’m in a boutique hotel. .

Unameit is one of those rare finds. Honest guy, local company, expert work - don't know what I'd do without him. HIGHLY recommended, He was recommended by our neighbor couldn't be happier with the front entry door and screen door that he has installed. He had to remove an existing door, and fix a couple problems before the installation. He was professional, on time, expert installation.. We have many more projects for David in the future.

U Name It Construction helped our family with an insurance claim. We needed extensive repairs to the ceiling and floor in our kitchen, and repairs/replacements in two bathrooms. They were wonderful advocates for us. Communication was great throughout the entire project. The COVID-19 Stay at Home order was met by U Name It Construction calmly with a lot of tenacity and willingness to work through some odd challenges. I am grateful to them for making sure my refrigerator was accessible throughout the entire project. They made sure we were as comfortable as possible during construction. U Name It Construction completed the job skillfully, with attention to detail (we love our new kitchen grate that is styled right for our 1895 house), and a good sense of design. We valued their advice on color, materials and placement.

David remodeled the kitchen in our 1920s house and it looks fantastic. We had a small space and he helped us relocate appliances in a way that made sense. He does a lot of the work himself that keeps the project on time and within budget. His subs were great too. His part of the project came in at around $30,000, despite having to do extensive electrical work when we opened the wall, and he finished it in about 10 weeks. I highly recommend David Lincoln and U Name it Construction.

David Lincoln provided a very competitive cost quote for a complete remodel of our main bathroom. After review of 4 contractors, He was hired. The work was performed meticulously and constant attention to detail. Work area was clean and kept tidy throughout project. The final product is a fabulous new bathroom. He comes highly recommended.

David and U Name It Construction completed three projects for us between this past September and December. The first involved replacing four windows in our garage, and also wrapping deteriorated door trim with aluminum. The second project was the replacement of a bathroom exhaust fan and venting it to the roof. The final was a new roof on our house done in early December. We were quite happy with the outcome of all three projects. David kept us informed as to when he would get to us, and how things were progressing during the work. He is very responsive to phone calls and emails. His roofing crew was efficient, completed the work in record time, and did an excellent job of cleaning up after. We enjoyed working with David, and have already made some referrals. I’m sure we will hire him for future projects as well.

I hired this company for two separate projects. An update of my master bathroom and the renovation of my mothers bathroom and kitchen. Both projects exceeded my expectations. My bathroom came out great and I love all the choices regarding tile vanity and tub.
