Unique Construction did an excellent job with our kitchen renovation and a floor refinishing/painting project. David did a great job with a difficult tile backsplash. They managed to reuse the existing countertop while adding a farmhouse sink. We are very pleased with the results.

Did a great job with the bathroom... I wasn’t happy with the floor (wood) which I have had fixed. So many nails to fix the squeaks. The company also enlarged and installed a French door. I recommend them

We couldn't be happier with the excellent work Unique Construction did to renovate our kitchen/dining/living areas. We had heard good things about them from friends, and Jim Dean and his crews exceeded our expectations. Jim gave us a reasonable estimate and held to it. He consistently provided rapid responses to our questions throughout the project. Since we were taking out a wall and adding a large bay window they brought in an architect and a structural engineer to make sure things were done properly. Danny built the bay window from scratch and cantilevered it perfectly with beautiful trim on the inside. His assistant Joel is also very able. Danny measured precisely with lasers to ensure the cabinetry was aligned just right. David did excellent work applying our marble backsplash tiles The old and new drywall were joined seamlessly and the painters are fast, clean and leave perfect lines. Their floor sub used the "saw-tooth" method to blend new hardwood flooring with the original 1963 floor and the wood matched well. One unexpected treat was having Megan's good advice on decor. All of them are friendly and fun to be around. They didn't get upset when we changed our minds about some choices. They were careful about our health during Covid-19, and they cleaned up well at the end of each day. They are fully trustworthy and we had no reservations about their being alone in our home. You will not be disappointed to have them renovate your home.

We've hired Unique Construction for five projects so far. The first and biggest job was a remodel of our kitchen. This wasn't just a pull and replace, it was a complete update with new cabinets in new places, an island replacing a peninsula, moving the location of the sink and dishwasher, re-doing the ceiling and adding LED cans and under-cabinet lights. Between the Unique employees (Dave, Danny and Megan) and the subcontractors, they did a great job - obviously as we've since used them for four other jobs. We had our backyard fence replaced, and it is awesome. We had them remove the texture from our downstairs ceilings and my wife was so happy she cried. One of the windows on the back side of our house fell apart, so we had them replace all the windows on the back side. They did a great job, and we were so happy with the new windows that a couple months later we had them replace all the windows on the front of the house as well. At some point in the next year or so we'll have them remove the texture from the upstairs ceilings as well. If you find a contractor you trust, keep them. We trust Unique to do a great job at a reasonable cost.

We were very happy with the workmanship and the finished product. Unique remodeled our bathroom and replace our kitchen floor with ceramic tile and did an excellent job. Jim Dean the owner gave us a fair and reasonable price and was very clear on what to expect and kept us informed on what was going on. I highly recommend Unique

We hired Unique Construction to renovate a guest bathroom and our front entryway. We received 3 quotes for the work. One quote was less expensive, but reviews for that company were not favorable. The other quote was slightly more expensive, their reviews were very good. We chose Unique Construction based on our previous experience with them in 2015. We found their previous work to be very high quality and their team were all great to work with. Our experience with them this time demonstrated the same great qualities. The team members were all very professional, diligent and just generally the kind of people you want in your house. They completed the work in a timely manner. The work areas were always clean at the end of each day. The final product looks just as I had hoped. I really want to point out that Jimmy and his team really go above and beyond. They added a few extra tasks to the job for minimal expense and with no complaints. They even fixed our front door that has been squeaking for the last the last 5 years!!! One of the lights they installed had a broken glass panel. I didn't have the time to track down details to get it replaced, so I asked them to hang it anyway. Jimmy took the time to contact the manufacturer and ordered a new panel for us. We have been so pleased with Jimmy and the team of professionals. We look forward to working with them in the future!!

We had two bathrooms remodeled and have been quite pleased. The tiling on the walls of both bathrooms is exquisite. Mr. Dean is very responsive to feedback and makes adjustments accordingly. We are planning to use them to redo our sunroom floor. Mr. Dean is knowledgable about products on the market and makes excellent recommendations of what to use where.
