Ted and his team have provided exceptional work for the past 2 years on my projects. Over the past few years, I have worked with Ted on two major renovations. He first managed a complex exterior project involving a severe leak that was impacting the interior of the house. Based on his performance, I hired him again the following year to renovate my basement. In both instances, Ted was highly professional, arriving on-site twice daily and providing frequent updates to ensure the project remained on schedule. Ted is the owner of Vision Construction in Mendham, New Jersey, and he handled the full renovation of Robinson Wellness Pharmacy when we relocated to our new space at (Sensitive Information Hidden). From the very beginning, Ted stood out as an exceptionally upright, honest, and reliable human being—something that is unfortunately rare in the world of general contracting. His estimates were accurate, his timelines were realistic, and his communication around costs, inspections, and expectations was crystal clear. We were so very fortunate to find Ted and his team at Vision Construction to carry out a full gut renovation of our house that was necessary due to a house fire. Ted has prior experience of managing fire restoration and, importantly for us, dealing with insurance companies. We reached out to Ted on the back of an excellent recommendation and were ultimately very happy that we did. Vision surpassed all expectations with regard to both anticipated deadlines and quality of work, which was consistently excellent. The project was completed as scheduled, which was significantly quicker than other general contractors had projected being deliverable. Ted and his team (Reid, Gus, Lynn, and Alice) are fabulous to work with and guided us through every step of the complex process. Communication is Ted’s number one priority with, at minimum, weekly updates either by phone or in person, keeping us fully advised on both the building progress while also ensuring we stayed ahead of the program by making timely decisions on fixtures and fittings. He was always on the end of the phone if we ever had any questions or concerns and either he or Reid was always available if we needed to meet at the house for any reason. Ted was great in managing our insurance company and developed a very productive relationship with our Claim Adjuster. No stone was left unturned in ensuring that our claim compensated us fully and ensured that high quality repairs, fully up to code, were able to be completed. Ted provided a full catalogue of preferred vendors and we utilized them all; we can’t speak highly enough of the level of service they provided. All of the subcontractors (kitchen designer, plumbing, electrician, HVAC, mason) were friendly, highly skilled, trustworthy, and sensitive to our personal circumstances. It was a pleasure dealing with each of them. This past year has been a very tough time for us personally and, frankly, we had very little enthusiasm for the reconstruction process we were initially faced with. We consider ourselves highly fortunate to have crossed paths with Ted and his team at the time we did, as their guidance and level of professionalism were precisely what we needed. We really can’t recommend Vision Construction highly enough. The team’s commitment to excellence is unsurpassed and the final result for us is a beautiful custom built new home.

I normally do not write reviews but this one is essential. The stress of renovations/construction was one of the main reasons we waited years to re-do our first floor. We heard horror stories about time delays and unexpected costs and just didn’t want the headaches. In hindsight it was a very bad decision… we lost years not being able to enjoy what Ted and his team created. Let me be clear… I can confidently say this would be a much different review if we chose someone else. Ted from our first meeting was no nonsense and completely upfront. His recommendation's from architects to subcontractors were perfect. He was present during every step of our renovation which was not a massive but also not a small project. The estimates and time frame he gave us were literally spot on. Ted’s expertise was beyond helpful changing our house into something very special. We highly recommend Ted and we would never use another contractor in any capacity. Even a year after the job was finished Ted came back and his team fixed some taping that wasn’t even really part of the project. When I say flawless, I mean flawless customer service. Ted and his team at Vision renovated our entire house and added an addition. They went above and beyond expectations with every detail, and the subcontractors they recommended were amazing. Somehow they completed a project that would have taken a year, in a 4 month time span and everything was flawless. The quality of work is top notch, and his employees and subcontractors are friendly, professional, trustworthy, and very skilled. Furthermore, the customer service is incredible- if something needs to be adjusted, repaired or replaced, they will come back and take care of it, even if it’s a year later. This was the second home project we used Vision for, and I would not work with anyone else. Ted, the owner, is always on site and manages your project as if it’s his own house. I honestly can’t say I know of anyone who has had a good contractor/project experience- but speaking for myself and anyone I know who has used Vision Construction, they make everything easy and you never have to worry about one thing.
