Mr Fixit Fast

We had a car accident in our garage. Holly's crew can out the same day and gave us a very fair and reasonable estimate. Crew started repairs right away. They repaired walls, door frames and painted. Everything was perfect!

Holly & her team at Mr Fixit Fast are very instrumental in evaluating remodeling projects and providing reasonable recommendations. They have helped us with several remodeling projects and have exceeded our expectations with attention to details and quality of work. They have gone out of their way to meet our requirements and accommodate our needs and deliver excellent product.

Holly was very responsive and professional. We had an open floor plan whereby the noise upstairs and downstairs would clash making it impossible to hear conversations or watch television or listen to music. I had an idea of what I wanted to do. Build a wall which would have resulted in one big wall from downstairs to up. They recommended noise deafening sheetrock and adding insets in the wall so it wouldn't be too overwhelming blank. I really appreciated that. Holly and her contractors took the time to ensure that I was planning a project that would meet my needs even if that meant downsizing the scope of work. Only criticism not enough attention to clean up after the project.

I have used Mr. Fixit Fast for jobs big (new shower in guest bath) and small (handyman stuff) and they have always done a good job. Highly recommend them.

I recently had a slab leak in my house. I knew it was going to involve several different companies and it overwhelmed me to think about having to deal with the workers, much less the mess. Holly K. and Mr. Fixit Fast were excellent. She took over and brought in all of the right experts to manage the job to my satisfaction. We needed plumbing/leak detection, concrete work, mold remediation, tile, painting and wood work. I think I would have gone crazy if I didn't not have Mr. Fixit Fast there to help me. The work was detailed, thorough and fast. Holly knew what to look for and made sure that no one was cutting any corners. I would recommend Holly and Mr. Fixit Fast for any home repair or remodel, large or small. I won't do anything without them.

UPDATE: The owner (Holly) read my review and gave me a call. She was extremely apologetic and even offered to take me out to lunch. Overall I think this company is decent, and my guess is my repair needs just caught her on a bad day. If nothing else, I appreciate that she cared enough to call. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Stay away. Save your money and find another repair service. To be short (because I can be long winded), this is not a reliable home repair service. This is a woman owned business ran by a lady named Holly. I called her to request a repair of my under-mounted sink. The initial conversation went well. Holly (the owner) was polite, informative and responsive. She booked me for an appointment about a week out. The repair would take 2 visits: Day 1 to fix the sink. Day 2 to fix the plumbing. And she would warranty the work for life. Day 1, the granite guy is a no show. After waiting 30 minutes I call Holly. Her response... "Oh yeah. Umm. Let me check. I'll call you back." She doesn't call back and I have to call her. Long story short, the guy shows up an hour and a half after the agreed upon time. Day 2, the plumber guy reschedules for later in the day. After he completes the work, he notes that whoever did the sink install didn't do so correctly. I call another granite guy for a 2nd opinion and he says the same. I ask Holly about it and she spends 10 minutes trying to convince me the other people don't know what they're talking about. Also, instead of taking responsibility for her contractors that weren't reliable, she blames them and doesn't take on any of the responsibility herself. At the end of the conversation she sends me an email from a page on Home Depot that (in her opinion) supports the repair was done correctly and then says she'll warranty the work for a year. And of course, to the email she attaches an invoice which, interestingly enough says she'll warranty the work for 90 days. Both warranties stated were different from the lifetime warranty she mentioned in our initial call. Since the repair was completed, Holly has contacted me at least 7 times, either by phone, email or text to collect payment. She also denied that she had ever offered a lifetime warranty on the work. I believe in supporting small business entrepreneurs and love to support locally-owned businesses. But this was such a disappointing (not to mention expensive) experience. In the end, I paid her. Fingers crossed this repair will last. If not, I can tell you who I will NOT be calling again for repairs.

Mr. Fixit Fast is the first call we make when something needs to be repaired or work done. From tree trimming, window replacement, soffit repair, to concrete work, Holly has always provided an excellent person to complete the job at a reasonable price in a timely manner. She is and will continue to be our “go to” resource to use.

Hi, dealing with Holly was painless and professional. We challenged them with a difficult job, strip paint from our back porch teak furniture and apply the teak oil. We should have never painted teak furniture, very bad idea. Ron and his crew did an excellent job of fixing our big mistake, the furniture looks great.

I am a custom home builder in the Metroplex and I always get calls for bath remodels or various home repairs. Since my company is not set up for that type of work I have been referring clients to Mr. Fix it Fast. Since they have employees that will do the work it allows them to control their costs and quality. This is not a one person handyman, it is a company that can take care a lot of remodeling needs in a timely manor.
