When our family relocated to Wilmington, NC my wife and I interviewed many custom home builders for our home. We chose Jason at 16 Pointe Properties over the other companies and we are certainly glad we did. It was our first home building experience and he helped keep us comfortable through the process from clearing the lot through move-in and beyond. We couldn't be more pleased with the way the home turned out. I would highly recommend 16 Pointe Properties and would use them again in future. The allowances seemed better than other builders we interviewed, the design process was seamless, the quality of finishings are amazing, communication was fantastic and importantly, he worked within our budget to give us a beautiful home that we are very proud of.

We were interviewing builders when I happened to meet Jason Akins with 16 Pointe Properties. From day one, Jason was extremely responsive and helpful in answering questions since we were building for the first time. Throughout the design process, he made excellent recommendations regarding our uniquely shaped lot and our desire to maintain the history of the area. So many friends and acquaintances shared stories and experiences that didn't go well with various builders. We never had that issue because Jason is an excellent communicator and problem solver. He is respected and well liked by his vendors and buys local as much as possible, which was important to us. He is always one step ahead, meets his commitments in timeframe and budgets, and was an absolute pleasure to work with. We love our custom home, and we look forward to sharing many days with Jason on our back porch and on the water. We will continue to share Jason Akins' name and high recommendations for 16 Pointe Properties.
