Under no circumstance would I recommend this builder. They have been dishonest from the beginning regarding reasons for delays, lack of updates and follow ups. They have held my earnest money for months knowing that they would not complete the project and continued to kick the can. Once pressured by legal they agreed to return the money however; they sent a check for half and a copy of a cashed check and stated they did not cash it which my bank provided proof that they did in fact cash. The seller and his legal (who stated they don't know why he hasn't mailed the remainder and it's out of their hands; have done nothing to return my rightful assets months later and have stopped responding. Do not do business with this builder for any reason. Per the Village of Matteson there are a lot of issues surrounding this builder. I'd encourage everyone to run!

I have been in the building trade for going on 28 years Tony and his company are some of the most professional and detailed group that I have worked with their attention to design and detail are amazing,and it shows in the product that he pour's all of himself into and the quality of the product he leaves in the market for consumers and homeowners.

We built a luxury town home with Alexi Development in there Bowen's Crossing Subdivision located in Frankfort. We chose this because of the quality of materials inside and out. Also, the location is great for getting to downtown Frankfort via the trail. The buildout was nine months and we came in at budget. The nice part to is that we were able to pick our own flooring materials (carpet, tile and wood). Also, the cabinets and lighting which makes it nice for being what we want. His works workers were very professional and by Tony living in the subdivision he is able to keep up on them with schedule. Overall we were happy with the construction of our new town home.

We hired Alexi Developers to build a townhouse in Bowen's Crossing in January, 2013. Tony Vari, the contractor, was professional, knowledgeable and willing to help us with our choices. He used quality materials, hired professional and competent sub-contractors and was on sight to supervise and make sure work was being done properly. The deadlines for completion were appropriate and he kept us informed of progress. The project was completed within budget. We were pleased with the entire experience and would highly recommend Alexi Development to others.

Tony worked with us to customize our townhome, allowing us to add the finishes and touches to create a home that truly reflected our personalities. The quality is evident, and the tradesman were all professional and so pleasant to work with. There are always a few things that need to be addressed after the fact with a project this size, and Tony has been there to address any issues we had. We now have a home that we truly love, thanks to Alexi Development!

No No

Nice style home. Terrible: Drywall, Tapping, paint, wood floor cracking, non finished hardware for doors. This was new construction. Project ran 1.5 times longer then what we were told.

I would like to have the opportunity to know the home. There was a home where we did not do the painting the customer hired their own painter and sometimes that can cause issues. As far as the time frame would like to discuss what contract said and expectations. Please feel free to contact me so I can respond appropriately .
