Rich Flannigan is our favorite local general contractor. A few years ago, he helped realize our vision of a kitchen and bathroom remodel. Our style is modern and cozy. We had a very smooth process in brainstorming our ideas and being directed by Rich to stay within our price range and using the best materials for durability, quality, and esthetics. Rich gives out a very accurate estimate and takes a humble cut for his involvement. He is also a skilled craftsman, himself, so to save costs in some places, he is able to do some labor himself (ie laying tile and backsplash). Rich is also very personable and a good human being; and we trust him with all our projects. We will be turning to him for our next project: basement remodel. Thank you, Rich. He was thorough, timely, and stayed in good communication during the course of the project. He was also flexible and willing to work with volunteers and donated supplies, as we are a nonprofit organization. I really can't recommend him enough.

Applied Construction has done several projects for us. They have finished basements in two of our homes, installed hardwood flooring, put in a tile backsplash and completely gutted and refinished our master bathroom. I have been completely satisfied with the quality of work and professionalism of the workers. The owner, Rich Flanagan, has a great eye for design, makes appropriate suggestions and charges a fair price. I especially appreciate that the work site is cleaned up each day as the project progresses.

Great Job Rich! The wall looks great! I hired Applied Construction to repair a wall in which the sheetrock had to be torn down in order to fix the main electical feed to my house that a cable complany drilled into. The fix required several appointments..sheetrock, mud, sand, mud... paint, ect.. The wall looks great.. Rich was prompt in meeting me for all appointments, very clean, and matched the texture and the paint!! And his price was very competative! I highly recommend Applied Construction for any of your household construction needs.

In 2015 I hired Applied Construction Concepts to help renovated a modular home that I owned in Laporte. Rich removed and installed a new skirt, removed and built a new deck, completed roof and gutter work, painted the building and completed other small projects including garage work, fencing and soffit repairs. Rich Flannigan did a great job for me. At times he had to figure out construction problems and engineer "fixes" to make things work. He is a good man that I trusted. I would recommend him to anyone.
