Wanting a custom builder, we interviewed multiple builders in the area but once we met with Jed Maitland several times, the decision was clear that he would get the job. He encouraged us to tour a couple of his other recently built homes and we were very impressed by the quality we saw throughout. With the great recommendations through word of mouth that his company is top notch we entered a cost plus type of contract with Archetype Construction. We found Jed and his construction crew, Jacob and Connor, to be extremely professional and hardworking and Jed was easy to communicate with and get a hold of through texts, emails or phone if we ever had any questions or concerns. As issues do occur at times with building any custom home, we were happy that Jed was always quick to offer suggestions and or solutions for any that did come up. We did go over budget for some changes we wanted made and worked closely with him to help keep our costs in check. To say that he went way above and beyond expectations is an understatement and we always felt that he had our back which is truly appreciated. We’re over the moon in love with our new home and the quality shows. If you’re looking for an honest and reliable builder do not hesitate to consider Archetype Construction as we highly recommend Jed Maitland and his talented crew.

We purchased this new home that was listed on the market. This home was well built and had quality construction. The attention that we received from Archetype Construction ( Jed ) after purchase was as if we had contracted this home to be built from the start. Archetype has been prompt to return all my calls and deal with all issues that have developed. I would recommend this builder to anyone that wanted to have a home built.

We have worked for Archetype a number of times now. Jed’s scheduling and timing has always been on point, and his attention to detail is great. Jed and his crew are quick to identify potential problems and remedy them before building. We work for many contractors in the valley, Archetype is one of our favourites!
