The photos of our home remodel are on this site and I must say that Chad did an outstanding job on our home. He was always responsive and super easy to work with. We love the outcome and we’d definitely call Chad if we had to do it again!

I would like to share with you my thoughts on Chad Stearns, Builder. I have known Chad for 2 + years and while he is an excellent builder, I would like to speak to his character first as a first class man and gentlemen who I have come to respect and admire for the way he conducts his life as well as his business. My wife and I have built 10 homes during our 30 years of marriage, with three of those at Lake Martin. I come from a construction family with my father being a builder and masonry contractor so I can speak from both background and experience. After all of our experiences we are extremely happy with our new lake home that Chad Stearns built for us. The quality was excellent, on time and within budget. Chad dealt with multiple obstacles as well as changes, upgrades and alterations that he managed with calm demeanor and professionalism. I appreciate his communication, follow up and deliberate approach to satisfy us as he his client. A builder is only as good as his subcontractors and Chad does a great job of vetting, managing and overseeing their activity to ensure the quality meets his standards as well as exceeds that of his clients. The best compliment and recommendation I can make is that if I were to build another home, I would choose Chad Stearns as well as recommend him to family and friends which I have.

I have used Chad Stearns as my builder on three projects as the developer, as well as having him build my personal home on Lake Martin. Chad's attention to detail and his honesty and integrity make him a great builder to work with. I couldn't be more pleased with Chad's work.

Chad and Cathy are the greatest. They both know and understand their jobs very well. Its obvious why they are so successful. This is my families first newly constructed home and they made life easy. The price was more than reasonable. Chad went out of his way to ensure we received the most for our money as well as ensuring we got exactly what we asked for in our home. From start to finish their level of communication has been exceptional.

Chad Stearns is all about the details and the details are what turned our house plans into a home we absolutely love. From beginning to end Chad worked tirelessly throughout the project to ensure excellence was the standard in every phase of construction. As a professional builder he guided us with recommendations on things like layout of utilities and choice of fixtures which added functionality, character and style. He completed the project on time and within budget. Bottom line, if you want a house built right, if you want a house that stands apart from others with style and character, hire Chad as your builder.

Chad Stearns built our home in the Foxfire subdivison. His experience, knowledge and abilities afforded us the home of our dreams. He worked with us and made suggestions throughout the build process. He always had the best of ideas from how to create our outdoor living space (screen porch, outdoor patio and kitchen) to custom doors opening onto the screen porch. The subcontractors he utilized were always professional, courteous, respectful and very knowledgeable. We had mahogany stained crown molding and woodwork throughout the first floor of the house with eight foot doors installed and stained. A spiral staircase with curved wall in the entry makes such a grand statement. Custom cabinets and granite were installed throughout the house including slab granite backsplash in the kitchen. We would highly recommend Chad Stearns as a builder. We have had six different homes built over the last 30 years due to work related moves and working with Chad Stearns was by far the best building experience.

We hired Chad Stearns Builder to build our dream home and he did an amazing job! He was very easy to work with and always had time for our questions. His attention to detail was amazing and we were particularly impressed by his honesty and integrity. We are extremely happy with our well-built, quality home. We highly recommend Chad!

I hired Chad Stearns Builders to do some repair work caused by water damage. The water was from the refrigerator and flooded several rooms. Chad was at my house within 30 minutes and had people lined up to start cleaning and removing damaged Sheetrock. During the entire process Chad has been extremely helpful and helped make sure everything was done right. I would gladly recommend them to everyone!

Chad built 2 houses for us. Both were done very well, one was a lake home and the other a retirement home that was totally handicap accessable. Would highly recommend Chad Stearns builder!

Chad Stearns remodeled our lake cabin. He was an excellent contractor. He has a great relationship with his subcontractors, and they were all very skilled. The final result of the job was exactly what we were looking for. As with any remodel, there were a few surprises, but Chad was able to handle them all. He was very respectful of our budget. He also had some very excellent advice and suggestions to improve the final outcome. From the beginning, Chad told us that he just wanted us to be happy. I found that statement to be completely true.

In a word - Professional. They were thorough, detailed and timely not to mention extremely competitive on pricing. I would recommend them to anyone looking to build or remodel.
