We're so happy we built our dream home with Cloud IX, because at the end of the day it's all about trust for us. At first, we were a little scared of building a custom home because we'd heard horror stories from friends, and we'd met with multiple builders who weren't flexible to our design and budgetary needs. Then, I saw my first Cloud IX home (after seeing many, many other homes over five years), and I never forgot Cloud IX's attention to details. So I met Patrick and I knew right away that Cloud IX was managed by true professionals who took their craft and reputation very seriously. From the start, Patrick was 100% honest and transparent about everything, and his entire team was so easy to work with. I still can't believe that despite minor pandemic delays, they built us a beautiful house, with everything we could ask for, on time and on budget. I could always get a hold of someone and they were so responsive, and they made it easier than I'd anticipated with a proven process that was actually fun. Also, they properly staffed their operation (no cutting corners), so I never had to stop what I was doing and jump in to manage this project. Plus, they work with top notch contractors and incredible vendors who are battle-tested and that made all the difference, too. Throughout a process that should have been scary and unpredictable, Patrick and his team always put us first and put us at ease. The Cloud IX team truly earns their reputation as a first rate operation and luxury homebuilder, and I highly recommend them if you want a quality custom home that's built right, on your terms.

Cloud IX built our dream home. Patrick and his team are professional, responsive, creative, and excellent problem solvers. Their product is extremely high quality and is beautiful. Unlike some other builders whose basic house model requires the buyer to pay for any upgrade, Cloud IX's basic model includes most typical "upgrades", so that you end up with beautiful crown molding, wainscoting, tray ceilings, coffered ceilings, and other features on every floor, not just the main level. Cloud IX also builds custom homes, which means you can essentially have whatever you want. We wanted a veranda off the owner's bedroom and we got exactly that. We wanted an office in the front of the house, rather than a formal living room -- no problem -- and in fact got a living room as well in another part of the house. We wanted as much light as possible and our house has huge windows everywhere. Throughout the building of the house, the design, selection, and building process was organized and there was consistent communication. If we had trouble finding an item we liked from the options provided, they found other options. Further, Cloud IX did not disappear after the house was built. We had a 90-day walk through to address any issues, and will have a 1-year walk through as well. And we know we can call them even after that if we have any issues in the future as they are good, honest people that care deeply about their work. I highly recommend them to anyone who is seeking to build their dream home.

The first time I walked into a Cloud IX home, I knew they were a builder I wanted to consider should we ever build. Their detail & trim work (which is standard for CloudIX) is beautiful. When we were first considering purchasing a lot, Patrick was the first person I called. He talked me through the process of a new build and it was apparent from the start that he has a ton of integrity - something you don't always find in builders. We couldn't be happier with our house, which we've now been in for a little over year. The Cloud IX team was great to get to know and work with throughout the process. Everyone is friendly and it truly felt like we made friends versus just hired contractors. While Cloud IX's featured floor plans are amazing, we knew we wanted something totally custom to accommodate all the reasons we wanted to move in the first place. It was fun to work together with Patrick and his architect to mold our vision of a floor plan into a feasible reality. We have gotten SO many compliments on our house and couldn't be happier. Cloud IX also delivered ON TIME and during a pandemic, which was pretty amazing. I also liked that I knew exactly what we were spending throughout the process. So many friends joked about how the build would take months longer than expected and to expect to pay a % over what we originally planned....But that wasn't the case. We knew every dollar above budget was b/c of the choices we made and the house was finished exactly according to plan. Very, very happy and would 100% build again with Cloud IX...though we have no reason to move. :)

My wife and I cannot begin to say how happy we are with our experience with Cloud IX Homes. Patrick and Team were amazing and went out of their way to assist us through the building process. We never felt forced or pressured into making decisions, but were encouraged to make decisions about our home that we would enjoy. We moved into our Cloud IX home in June 2020. The build, even through a pandemic, was stress free and fun. They delivered our home ahead of the projected schedule and on budget. There was not one change order from Cloud IX that was not a specific request/upgrade driven by us. After touring many new build options in the area, we can confidently state that the Cloud IX base scope far exceeds the competition from finish level to quality of workmanship. We cannot wait to build another with Patrick and his team!

We originally approached Patrick about building our home before we had finalized the purchase of our lot. Patrick was very helpful in helping us determine if the lot we were considering would allow us to build the house we desired. The design process was thorough and Patrick's team was very helpful in guiding us through the process. Once construction began, Patrick and his team were in constant communication with us, keeping us up to date and assisting us with selections. We love our new home and enjoyed the building process. Some of the things we love about Cloud IX's homes are the included touches like crown molding throughout the entire house, extra tall baseboards that include the outlets (rather than have them in the walls), and finished garage floors. We enjoyed how Patrick offered creative ideas during design, and helped us make some of our unique thoughts come to fruition. His team and process allowed us to do just about anything we wanted to do in our home, which helped to make it our dream home.

My wife and I purchased a Cloud IX home earlier this year. We looked at a lot of the competition and found that Cloud IX had the most innovative floor plans with details and extras that were not provided by other builders. Our Cloud IX home has gas lamp exterior lighting, copper gutters, a custom range hood, heated master bath floors, a deck and a fully fenced yard, plus awesome high end light fixtures, trim that has trim, and more. 6 months in we love our home and would definitely return to Cloud IX if we wanted to build again.

We used Cloud IX to build our new custom home. We just moved in last month and we love it! Our lot provided a number of rather unusual challenges but Cloud IX rose to the task and handled everything. Throughout the entire process they were always professional, helpful, creative and very thoughtful about the details. They spent a lot of time with us on the front end making sure we thought through all the nuances of the design which made the entire process smoother. They also worked really hard to incorporate the details that were important to us, even if that meant spending significant time searching for just the right cove trim or stairwell baluster. They were a pleasure to work with and they delivered a fine product.

We have worked with Patrick and Cloud IX homes (assisting with home designs) for over 10 years and believe he is one of the highest quality home builders you will find. In addition to being extremely personable, Patrick is very knowledgeable and consistently delivers homes that carefully balance clients' design expectations and budget.

I could not be happier with the home that we built with Cloud IX. Throughout the whole process, Patrick and John were very responsive and took the time to answer all our questions and guide us along the way, giving us options to help keep us on budget while still working in the things we wanted to splurge on. One clear distinction between Cloud IX homes and other homes that we toured is the thoughtfulness of the floor plans and the quality of the craftsmanship. Every room and space is utilized wonderfully and the layout flows nicely on each floor. If you want to choose every single detail down to the last cabinet face, door pull, lighting fixture & tile, the world is your oyster! But Patrick and John have a great eye, so for some of our options, I simply chose the same options as another home in their portfolio. To top it all, our home was delivered on time and they made sure everything was perfect! I'd highly recommend Cloud IX!

I can't say enough positive things about my experience with Patrick and Cloud IX Homes. As a 10+ year Realtor in Northern VA I walk through all levels of construction and there's just no denying that Patrick builds an incredibly solid home. I assisted long-time clients as they looked to purchaser in Vienna. Cloud IX had the highest quality of any property we viewed and I was happy when they ultimately chose to purchase his product. Due to unforeseen circumstances they found themselves selling the same home less than a year later, no small feat. Ultimately the home sold before even hitting the market and at a premium because it is truly just a quality product. Throughout the selling process Patrick and his team simply could not have been more willing to assist us as the buyer asked for things that we needed builder assistance to respond to. Patrick took our buyer's calls, their agent's calls, my calls, my client's calls...never with an ounce of animosity toward us. Patrick and Mike went above and beyond on the punch list and truly helped us make it to settlement. Not only were they wonderful to work with when my clients purchased directly from them, but they were exceptional to work with when my clients found themselves selling unexpectedly, and at a point where Cloud IX had absolutely nothing to gain. This speaks volumes! Lastly, two different independent home inspections were performed on this home through the buying and selling process and the results solidified the quality of the work. I will highly recommend Cloud IX moving forward.

Patrick and Cloud IX built our home in Falls Church City in 2014 and we could not be more happy with the final product. It was delivered exactly on time just before the school year started, on budget, and the quality, 5 years in, is fantastic. The correct combination of architecture, engineering, product and professional installation has led to virtually no warranty issues and has been a blessing for our quality of life. We could not recommend Patrick and his team more highly.
