My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Terrible communication. Don't be fooled in the initial discussions with Matt Cole. Many e-mails and texts went unanswered in the beginning and should have been a red flag. We signed a pre-construction agreement and placed a deposit anyway and out of nowhere they simply stopped communicating during the final stages of our contract discussions for the home build. After a month of no communications we decided to take the painful step of terminating our pre-construction contract (because really if your builder has no time for you, you cannot build with them). They have stopped answering e-mails, texts and phone calls altogether and refuse to return our deposit even though that is what our contract states if we do not build with them. Have not heard any meaningful communications from them in almost 3 months despite certified mail, e-mails and texts, all of which I know they have received. PLEASE AVOID!

Interviewing builders can be challenging to say the least but my husband and I flew into Chattanooga in July of 2021 and met with 4 builders. We actually liked all the builders, but Cole Construction stood out to us because they seemed like they genuinely cared about their clients. We spoke to 3 referrals that Matt Cole gave to us, and we even went to one of their houses and walked through. We were impressed with the house and decided to commit to Cole Construction. We were nervous about the lack of materials and pricing and delivery, but Matt and his brother (Warren) were on top of everything and, since they are a fixed cost builder, we felt we were in good hands. We had a great experience with them and since moving into our home November 2022, we love it more each day. Cole Construction was the perfect choice for our family.

We met with several builders and were most impressed with Cole Construction. Matt Cole was great to work with and guided us through the estimating process and assisted us with our architect in making sure we weren't adding unnecessary costs to our build. The entire process has been great, and we enjoyed working with everything at Cole. Our new home is beautiful and we couldn't be happier.

Where do you begin, 4th roof leak this last week. We’ve built 3 houses, this one by far had lack of quality control throughout.

These guys are great, so happy with our decision to use them. On time, didn't get pushed off like other friends who used other builders. They were on time and in budget- super thrilled to be moving in after a house that took 5 months to build.

Loved working with Meghan their selections coordinator. I didn't know where to start and she gave us great direction and ideas. She saved us money, kept us in budget and where we were over was clear with us that it cost extra. Very Happy...

We loved building with Cole Construction. Our house was built on-time and on budget, and they were so thoughtful as we built the house offering us great guidance every step of the way.

Dissatisfied - We contracted with Cole Construction, LLC, Chattanooga, Tn in August 2017 for a custom build of a 2900 sq ft home. Two years later, we are still trying to get them to finish our home. For our build, there has been little to no direction for the crews/trades. The workers are constantly redoing work due to the lack of direction.

I hired Cole Construction for a full remodel of my house. They are business professionals who know how to relate to their customers. I was impressed by the constant involvement and updates they provide and I always felt in the loop. They helped me reach a finished product that was exactly what I wanted. I would highly recommend Cole Construction if you want a contractor thats knows how to deliver a great product and are easy to work with, these are the folks!

Cole Construction built a custom home for my husband and I after our kids graduated and moved out. We wanted a rambler style with an open air basement for grandkids to eventually stay. The company is family oriented so we were able to reach the owners as well as our project coordinator and project manager by email and phone at all hours of the day. Our project was not without it's bumps in the road but we were constantly reassured that any issues which arose would be swiftly and smartly dealt with. We felt like we were guided through the project from plans, breaking ground, making selections, and finally getting to move into our forever home. I greatly appreciate the experience we were given by working with this company!
