One of the most difficult struggles in any gut-&-remodel project is to find a contractor who has the owner's needs and future concerns as a motivating factor. This problem is amplified by time and distance. What was the greatest source of comfort and assurance has been the security of knowing that Dave (DBI Builders) was concerned that the new owners, some 2000 miles away, would have their preferences and future needs as his central motivating factor. We have been so pleased, that our tastes and likes were a driving factor in the contractor's remodel work, and with all the hassles and aggravations of multiple sub contractors and large appliance deliveries / schedules, Dave had a wonderful spirit of cooperation and commitment to us, even though we were out of town to oversee every step. We are grateful for the quality, the cost, the personal service.
