Frank at FP Builders has tackled variety of projects for us at our old-world custom home in the Tiburon hills, including major repairs and a downstairs remodel. Frank is extremely professional and has loads of experience, knowledge and integrity. His crew is always courteous and polite (which is a good thing when you have contractors in your home for extended periods of time). I have worked with Frank the owner of FP Builders for over 40 years. I have hired him over the years to do all levels of work- from a small remodel to large remodels to building an entire house . His quality of work is impeccable. He is efficient, honest, responsible and easy to work with . His subs are all top level. Our project was a major rebuild – down to the studs, new foundation, new structural components - basically everything new. After interviewing several contractors, we chose FP Builders (FPB) based on our interview, customer reports and their significant experience with major projects. We had a close working relationship with the contractor and his foreman. We scheduled a weekly progress meeting and met more often as required. I had nearly daily contact with the foreman and he was on the job every day. An FPB strength is attention to detail. There were dozens, perhaps hundreds of details that were not and could not have been specified in advance. I always felt that little or nothing would surprise us. FPB is transparent with all financial transactions. You, the customer, will see all costs and charges in detail. More importantly, the FPB folks are honest, good human beings and we believed that we could expect them to manage the project in our best interest. FPB was superior in managing the sub-contractors. We were paying for quality work and the sub-contractors were held to the appropriately high standards. FPB made great suggestions for improvements during the process and they were responsive in making these or other changes. Whenever I wanted to alter something they did so without grief. The end product is a terrific home. All workmanship is superior. We highly recommend you consider FPB for your project.
