My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

I am extremely pleased with the work John and Jal Construction has done to my house. John is extremely personable and I was comfortable the minute I met him . I could not be happier with the quality and the care that went into every detail . John is accommodating and ensures to check in every step of the way. They worked and cleaned up daily and now my house looks amazing. Thank you JAL Construction!!

We have known John and his crew for over 30 years. You will never find a team like this that is always on time, work really hard, come up with amazing ideas and are super friendly. Most important they are extremely fair on prices!!! They did great work on our new home and as we make more changes in the future we will continue to use them. No need to shop around. FIVE STARS!!!

My basement flooded when there was a prolonged and heavy rain. John was able to identify the issue immediately and advised the appropriate repairs needed. John replaced all our gutters, and improved the rain water displacement. The issue seems to have been fixed. Knock on wood. It rained fairly heavy the other day and my basement was "bone dry". A big weight has been lifted off my shoulder!! Thank you John!!!!

I had interviewed 10 contractors prior to hiring JAL construction. I was in an area that was hit hard with Super Storm Sandy and Jal Construction had just completed a home around the block from me. I asked the homeowner what his experience was and he had nothing but raving comments. I had two homes to complete because my mom was hard hit as well. So after my mom's architecture plans for her new home was complete I had John come over and give me an estimate. John was very fair in his estimate and the quality of his product was much better than the other contractors. For instance he used solid wood interior doors and Pella professional series where everyone else was using Anderson 100 series and hollow doors. John was a pleasure to work with throughout the whole process constantly checking in to make sure everything was as we wanted. I also liked the fact that he would do one home at a time which made the process much quicker. I was so impressed by the quality and workmanship that I hired John and Jal Construction to do my house as well and I was equally impressed
