We’ve had an excellent experience with JayMarc Homes. The build quality is great, but what really sets them apart is their people. Our site manager Ed was amazing and great with our kids. Their service team—Michael and Dan—has been outstanding. They’re responsive, knowledgeable, and consistently go above and beyond to make sure everything is taken care of quickly and professionally. It’s rare to find a team this committed to homeowners long after move‑in. Highly recommend JayMarc for both their homes and their people.

Jaymarc took on my difficult project from another builder found some issues with the house plans and fixed the problems. They removed roadblocks from the city and held my hand every step of the way. Any kinks that arose during the course of building the straightened out. They are still providing support and answering questions 7 months later. I wouldn't use anyone else to build my home.

I bought a new home from JayMarc more than one year ago, and I have been very satisfied and happy with them. Their homes are beautifully designed, and the material used is top-notch. To be honest, I did not have much interaction with JayMarc during the buying process since that was all through my agent, but after the purchase, their customer service department has been amazing. Per their warranty, they have been at my home many times to repair various issues, big and small. It's common to find random issues here and there in new homes, but JayMarc's customer service employees have made that process very painless with no frustration. They are easy to reach via email, always on time for their appointments, have never been late even once, always fix things completely without lingering issues and clean up thoroughly before they leave. I felt that their employees were genuinely interested in solving problems for customer homes as if it were their own home. They even went above and beyond what the warranty contract states, to make us happy, and as a result we are very happy that we bought a home from such a reputable local builder.

We purchased a newly-completed JayMarc home in 2017. It was very well built - great attention to detail. We asked for certain improvements as part of the purchase. Each was done promptly of a very high quality. JayMarc went above and beyond anything we have experienced in buying new homes in the past. They made sure we were settled in and helped with fixes well beyond what we could reasonably expect of a builder. On top of that, we developed a troublesome floor squeak over the last couple of years (remember, we bought the home in 2017). The floor vendor (sent by JayMarc) could not resolve the squeak. Undaunted, the JayMarc team came to the house, diagnosed the issue and set up a plan of attack. Michael and Dan found a squeaky LVL hanger. They went downstairs, removed a portion of the ceiling and tracked down the squeak and fixed it from below the floor. The next day the sheetrock folks came, taped and re-textured the affected area. And in true JayMarc style, while there were there fixed a number of addition dings. Then the painters finished up the job (including a bunch of additional touch ups) the next day. Not a single bill. Simply amazing. No way was this covered by a warranty - just JayMarc goodwill. A phenomenal company and team.

JayMarc helped us build a beautiful custom home that we are proud of and happily living in now. They hand held us all the way starting from finding a good architecture, designing the house, applying for permits, to finally building the house. While there was some delay in building the house due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, I am very happy that there was only slight slip in schedule. Jeremy did a great job of keeping all the contractors on schedule and preventing a longer slip even with all the COVID work restrictions. The quality of the home has been excellent and JayMarc voluntarily fixed many things that I didn't even bring up. After delivery service has also been excellent, and JayMarc has been keeping up with all the minor issues I have found so far. I would definitely use JayMarc again if I were to build another custom home.

Bought a completed home from JayMarc 1 year ago and the quality, attention to detail, and craftsmanship continues to surprise me. The design elements and the millwork impresses everyone that comes into the home. The level of service and responsiveness from the entire team has been amazing. Absolutely love our JayMarc home.

In my personal opinion it matters greatly who the builder is when you buy a home as your primary residence. We bought a JayMarc home last year. Their attention to detail is phenomenal. Our home inspector told us it was the best crawl space he had seen in his career. They pick good lots and put good homes on it. They did not skimp on quality and did not cut costs on anything especially on the structural side. The best part about working with JayMarc is their team. The team has very good people all the way up to their CEO. They provided us with a home buying experience unlike anything we have experienced before. My wife and I would absolutely recommend JayMarc homes, especially if you are looking for a primary residence.

We selected JayMarc to build our custom home on Mercer Island primarily for their second-to-none real time billing transparency, competitive pricing and delivery schedule, nearly six months quicker than their competitor. This was an architect-driven project where JayMarc needed to deliver on the architect and design team’s vision versus their own. What really impressed us in the end was the skill, responsiveness and pride of our project team, especially general contractor Jeremy DeBoer and the tradespeople he kept to task. He worked exceptionally well with our architect and interior designer to deliver exactly what we wanted. We are living in a home of the highest build quality and got everything we wanted. Our home even won the 2019 New Home Council Tribute award for Best Custom Home.

We bought a new JayMarc home in 2015 on Mercer Island. We moved in 2018 to a bigger place on Mercer Island. This was also new construction. JayMarc's customer service is remarkably better than the other builder on the island. The other builder said we "purchased a spec home" (the home is $3.4M) and has been completely unhelpful since we've moved in. In contrast, JayMark took ownership of any and all questions we had during the move in process, and during some minor renovations we took on after moving into the house. If I build again on Mercer Island, I'll be using JayMarc Homes... no question.

JayMarc was a very good choice to build our custom home. They gave us a schedule for the timing to make all the small decisions which go into building a custom home. Their interior designer was very helpful to making decisions which are in line with our taste. We have been especially impressed with their after service. JayMarc provides a 1 year warranty on everything in the house. Whenever we found small things that needed to be repaired, their staff was very responsive and fixed all the issues in a timely manner. In general we are very satisfied with our decision to hire JayMarc to build our custom home.

we've been in our JayMarc home for a month and I still can't find anything I would change. The design of the house is perfect for us. Even on cloudy Seattle days there is plenty of natural light coming in. Thank goodness I didn't know there would be so much storage in our home. I still have empty kitchen shelving. Harry Potter wishes he could have lived in our under-the-stairs cupboard instead of the one at the Dursley's. There would be enough room for sleep-overs in it. The help we received in planning the house couldn't have been better. Having never built a house, it was nice to have a building company who kept our best interests in mind. We would have no idea of the quality of the building materials in this home, except for the DR Horton supervisor who was involved in building the DR Horton homes around us. He'd say things like "Wow, you've got the best grade of lumber coming in for framing." We'd have not known. We thought lumber was lumber. In visiting some of the Horton built homes around us, it's clear JayMarc is a big step above them in quality. I love the 10 foot ceilings on both the first and second floor. It makes the rooms feel so spacious. The heavy doors on the rooms make the room your private world when the doors are closed. JayMarc is right. Love where you live! And we do.

On March, 2017, we purchased a house from JayMarc and we were out of US on closing day, When I was on my first time to see this house on Jun 22, 2017,. We were so happy with JayMarc's outstanding job, it is a very warm home not only on great designning but also on the built quality and all details including custome service and a lot of things which let us always remember it.

We enjoyed our experience with JayMarc. The team was knowledgeable and if there was something new we were tackling they made every effort to get the information needed. They were flexible and patient. Building a home is time consuming, emotional and fluid, so we appreciated JayMarc’s support, knowledge and professionalism.

We worked with Jaymarc on a custom house that broke ground in mid 2016 and finished in early 2017. We were a little hesitant about doing a custom house at first because it was a little out of our budget, but Jaymarc worked with us and came up with a plan to make changes from their normal classic package (lights, appliances, paint, etc.) to suit our needs. They really got to know us and got to know what we liked which showed in the designs and final product. The house came out amazing, on par with any Jaymac signature house we've toured, and we've toured probably all of them. Communication, mostly through Heather, leading up to and during the build was amazing. They processed our change orders quickly. Megan and Aimee helped us pick out beautiful looking finishes that we get compliments on all the time. Jeremy, the manager on site, was really responsive to issues and answered all of our questions. We did weekly, sometimes twice a week walkthroughs. Quality of construction was very high, and stood up to scrutiny from friends in the construction field. Customer service was amazing throughout and after the fact. They strived to make us happy. There were a few places of ambiguity with our spec, but Jaymarc always did right by us and we always felt things worked out in our favor. Michael and Edgar even helped us knock a few typical homeowner maintenance issues (warped screen, tightening the back door latch, etc.) out during our 30 day walkthrough. I've only had 1 custom house built, but it's hard to imagine another company doing it better.

It was a pleasure to work with JayMarc team to build our new house. Megan was very helpful and patience in helping us with our selections. She was able to help and provide recommendation and we are very happy and satisfied with the final products. Dave and James were very helpful whenever we met at the work site. They were very flexible and willing to accommodate our requests. Michael was very professional and went over the warranty and what to expect after we close our house. We are glad to have JayMarc built our new home!

We were in market for a new home, and Jaymarc's new constructions caught our eye over and over again. On Saturday morning (March 4 2017), I bumped my garage door when I pulled backward my car. The door can't be closed and I don't know what to do with the door. So I called Michael and Edgar. Michael came right away and helped me to fix the door. Edgar came too who was seriously sick at home and I did not expect to come helped to fix the door with Michael. I was surprised and moved because it was the weekend morning and they came to help me immediately after my accident. Absolutely outstanding builder! We made an offer when only the frame was up - we had a LOT of non-traditional customization requests (additional wiring, sound insulation, etc) along with a number of more traditional ones (outside fireplace, wine fridge, landscape requests etc). The JayMarc team has exceeded by a lot any expectation I may have had about what this process would look like. They were always accommodating, and worked with us relentlessly on many design iterations until we were happy & stayed within our budget. JayMarc Custom Homes built our dream house. The site is located in an environmentally critical area (ECA) and difficult to permit and construct. Despite challenges such as second wettest December on record, stringent permit conditions, uniqueness that come with every custom home, and dealing with demanding owners, JayMarc delivered. We love our new home. JayMarc team is top notch with excellent customer service and quality workmanship. They even have an in-house interior design team which greatly lessened the stress typically associated with fixtures/materials/color selection. We recently purchased a JayMarc home. We were initially impressed with the friendliness of their staff at the model and the quality of their workmanship. Once we purchased the home, we were very pleased to see how personal they made the experience for us, from their multiple welcome notes and visits to their house walkthrough, education and documentation that was provided for us. They have been responsive to our punch list of items to address and all their subs have done a high quality job. They have also been very open to our feedback and input so that they can continue to understand the needs and preferences of their buyers.

We purchased our home from JayMarc in 2012 and more than three years later, we are still more than satisfied with our purchase and experience with JayMarc Homes. We didn’t have a lot of experience working with homebuilders, but we can definitely say that JayMarc not only met, but exceeded our expectations. Their interest and care in the building of our home was felt throughout the entire home building process. Our home wasn’t a custom home, but JayMarc made it feel like it was in many ways. In our previous new home experiences, we were able to choose maybe the cabinets, carpet, countertops, and pre arranged sets of lighting. Not with JayMarc. They not only welcomed our input, they provided us with a dedicated designer, Aimee Upper. Without a doubt, we would not have been able to create the home we have and love if it wasn’t for Aimee’s understanding of our unique design style. With that understanding, she was able to offer suggestions for specialized tiles, wall color, light fixtures, flooring, sinks, tubs, etc. that fit our design scheme as a whole and that were within our budget. Not an easy job. What really separated JayMarc Homes in our mind was the dedication to our satisfaction that went beyond tiles and light fixtures. Before even breaking ground, we asked for changes to the design of the front elevation. We were interested in a slightly different look than what was already planned and they made it happen. We also asked for changes to the placement of the walls in the great room in order to allow for more space in the one adjacent to it. No problem, they said. From there, we went on to add a custom ceiling in the great room that Aimee designed and sourced for us based on the ideas we had given her on the look and feel we were going for. It turned out beautifully and is one of the showpieces of our home. After we were off and running, we found that every JayMarc staff member we worked with, every vendor, was professional, knowledgeable, and willing to help. All along the way, there were few surprises and when there were, JayMarc worked with us to a satisfactory solution. Three years later, we are still in love with our home and remain in close touch with the folks at JayMarc. We recently attended their 5 Years of Building Celebration and congratulate them on earning the Houzz Best Customer Service Award for 2016. Well earned.

We are very happy with our new custom home built by JayMarc. The entire process from beginning to end was great. Our custom "homie" was with us every step of the way to help guide us through the process. Our designer was amazing as was her assistant. They helped in making A LOT of decisions easy and painless. Marc was also there for us to answer any questions we might have and always with a smile and a hug. We consider the entire JayMarc team good friends--how many people can say that about their builder! I don't think any project goes off without a hiccup or two, but the way those hiccups are handled is extremely important and we felt like JayMarc handled them well. JayMarc finished our home on time UNDER budget--amazing. Their little touches along the way getting us excited about our new home and then welcoming us with special gifts for us and our 3 children was above and beyond our expectations. Their finishes and attention to detail are beautiful. The vendors they source are easy to work with, friendly and have a large variety of materials and choices to choose from if you are building a custom home. We have not had many problems with the home since moving in, however, when we have had an issue their friendly staff has been there to take care of them. We have watched our street and neighborhood transform over these last 15 years with new homes being built with new families moving in. When we decided to move forward we had gotten ahold of 5 contractors to tear down our old house and build a new one. We ended up using JayMarc and we have had the most pleasant experience.( we had heard horror stories from our neighbors about their experiences) The entire team at JayMarc where very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. They did what they said they would do- even if something was not quite right they did every thing to make it so- no confrontation, negativity or attitude. When stopping by the project to take a look at things- even the sub contractors were great. I enjoyed talking to them and they showed pride in their work. We enjoyed the process as they took the time to go over what to expect along with a timeline. With the craftsmanship and beautiful finishes we are very pleased with our new home and if I had to do it again- no doubt in my mind we would have JayMarc do it again.

Purchased spec home. Good home design. Home design contextually reflects Pacific Northwest craftsman / lodge style. JayMarc chose better materials and details than lower end home builders (10" wood base throughout house, 10' ceiling height, higher end appliances). Some design choices they made do not align with the higher end approach they aspire to (hollow core doors upstairs, divided light windows use applied muntins and are not fully divided, carpet is lower quality). Overall they tried (and generally succeeded) in creating a higher quality home at a relatively good value. Excellent post-ownership service and support. Open to feedback and engage in regular communication. Great warranty and follow up. I would recommend them and would use them in the future.
