About Us

Keith Knickerbocker has been in the construction business for over 30 years. He began his career in Commercial Construction working on the development of the first Connecticut casino. He also owned his own national chimney fabrication business for several years. Using the two prior experiences, Keith applies techniques traditionally used in commercial building to residential building to effectively control costs, efficiency, speed and organization. His creative eye for design and problem solving is a key element to his work in communities on the shoreline of Connecticut. Although Keith is efficient, he does not take on projects to just get in and get out - his clients and their homes always receive a personal touch. Keith keeps his clients happy by proving that any idea is possible. He systematically manages small to large teams of subcontractors and stands by his philosophy “The end date does not change”. Keith and his team redid the outside of our 1916 Craftsman home. The workmanship was outstanding and Keith suggested many details that enhanced the house and restored it to its true craftsman beauty. The work was done on time and on budget. Keith is an excellent contractor to work with -- he totally got what we were trying to achieve and worked patiently with us to pick out the right materials and colors. The work included new cedar shingles, new window frames, new braces and woodwork, and new roof. Would definitely use Keith again.
