If I could give Billy 10 stars, I would. From top to bottom, we had a wonderful experience, I daresay it was even fun. Chad, the site manager and Brett, the design consultant, made it SO smooth. The quality of their subcontractors' craftsman ship is the best I've seen (I've been involved with building 6 houses myself). We've been in the house 3.5 years, had only 1x warranty call the first year, and it still looks as good as it did the day we moved in (which was on the specific day they told us too!). I also have to give a nod to architect Frank Snodgrass, who designed our home. He did an amazing job, I still drive slowly sometimes coming home to admire it's beauty. I would've never met Frank if not for Billy. On a personal note, I know Billy to be a man of integrity, superior work ethic, and tenacity. Two years after we built our house, I had an issue with some drainage and landscaping (wasn't done by him). He motivated the responsible party to act and the problem was solved within the week. Again, top-to-bottom, we could not have asked for a better experience. We built this hope to start and raise our family in, and now that we're expecting our first child in January, I couldn't be more pleased with the MASTERPIECE he, and his team, built for us.

Our experience in building our forever home with Linnane Homes was exceptional. Billy and his team are very attentive to every detail and communicated openly and honestly throughout the entire process. Building a home can be a daunting task, however working with Linnane Homes proved to be a great experience for our family. At each step in the process they explained what was taking place and answered all of our questions in a timely and professional manner. Follow up and communication were very important to us and we never had a lag in response or action needed. The product itself is terrific! The workmanship and finishes that went into our home were first rate. We would highly recommend Linnane Homes to anyone considering building a custom home.

When my wife and I started our adventure of building a new home we knew that it would be the biggest one of our lives. We wanted to find someone that we trusted to work with us to make our dreams a reality. Someone that would understand who we are and translate that into our home. Billy Linnane, along with his team including Tammy and Chad, completely exceeded our expectations. Many people told us that building a custom home will be the most stressful thing you ever do. I can't think of a time (other than wishing the torrential rains that plagued Charlotte for 3 months straight) that we were really stressed during the process. Linnane homes made it such an enjoyable experience. They knew our budget and made sure we stayed with in it without compromising the quality of the finishes and workmanship. We had originally met with some big builders about homes, and everything was extra with them. Linnane Homes standard finishes, including 5 panel painted cabinets, site finished hardwood, beautiful interior doors, etc. are all standard rather than all being up charges. That was very refreshing. The items that we wanted to add including a 16' sliding glass wall and coffered ceilings were extra but the attention to detail for these items was incredible. At one point the builder realized that the sliding door was going to move into the room about 4" . Rather than it throwing the coffers and fireplace off slightly, the Linnane Homes team redid all of the coffers and moved the fireplace to keep everything balanced. Part of the process of custom home building is timelines. They can become a big deal if you are renting like we were. Linnane Homes set a realistic timeframe at the beginning of the build and met their delivery date without cutting corners to make it happen. We have now been living in our new home for 4 months, and every day when we pull up to it we still can’t believe that it is ours. I travel a lot for work and each time I pull up to the house not only am I excited to see my family, but I am excited to be home. Linnane Homes doesn’t just build houses, then build Homes. We've been in our home six months and couldn't be happier. We moved to the area from the Midwest. We built a custom home almost two years prior to moving to the Lake Norman area. Needless to say I knew it was going to be difficult to find a home that met my desires as I had just completed a home that I picked every detail. I expected to have to find a previously owned home and do some remodeling or updates. I didn't want to go through the building process again. However we were very blessed to discover a spec home Linnane was completing. My husband and I are very detail oriented. Not only do we care about the aesthetic details but the way and what materials are used to build the home. From our first meeting with Billy we never felt like we were given a sales pitch. He spent time explaining how and why materials and craftsmanship that was used. You could tell he takes pride in the homes he builds. If he wasn't satisfied with the way a task was completed he had it redone the way he felt it should have been done. We were living out of town while the home was being completed. We received regular updates and pictures of the work completed. When we were able to come to town Linnane was very flexible in meeting with us and reviewing work that was completed and due to be completed. Communication was excellent! Once in the home all the employees of Linnane including Brian the warranty/project manager were very helpful and available. We rarely had to contact them to discuss punch list items as they were quick to get in touch and coordinate completion of those items. They were even very responsive

Been in our Linnane house for just under 2 years, now, and it still feels like a new, custom home, which is exactly what it is. The house is the Montclair, and the floor plan really maximizes the available space. It is an excellent design for everyday family life, with plenty of storage space, high ceilings and an awesome kitchen that has a fabulous island. The 3car garage really can hold 3 cars with enough room to get in between and behind them all. We love the house and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Billy Linnane to anyone. Not only does Billy build fine custom homes but he is a really nice person as well.

Update: We have now completed our BEAUTIFUL new home w/ Billy Linnane and are thrilled to finally be in. We are so happy w/ the amount of detail, craftsmanship & expertise that went into building our home. How many people can say, "I would build another home with Billy Linnane again in a heartbeat!" The experience a month after our closing w/ small details has been just as easy. I can't give high enough stars...wish there were a 10 star rating. Thank you Billy for our new forever home... We have been working with Linnane Homes since January of 2014. We are in the middle of the whole construction process and couldn't be more pleased. It's a much different experience from the first time we built a home w/ a semi-custom builder in Texas to a complete custom build. They have held our hands along the way and guided us towards what we know will be the perfect home for us for the long term. We look forward to the day we can move to our new home soon. I would advise anyone looking for a great custom builder in either the Western part of Union County or the Davidson area to look at Linnane Homes first and compare all others to them.

Fortunately for us, we stumbled upon Linnane Homes during our search for a home in the Charlotte area. We knew from the start what an incredible opportunity it would be to build our home with Billy and Julie. They are two of the most decent, honest and kind people we know. The homes they had built in the past were beautiful, comfortable, and energy efficient. We were excited to say the least! Billy made the process as simple as possible. He is extremely organized and starts planning for both exterior and interior finishes well in advance. He was very transparent with regards to cost of upgrades we wanted. He would even go as far as to advise us if he felt something was "not worth the cost" but, never crossed the line as to tell us what we should or shouldn't do. Because my husband works typical business hours of M-F, Billy offered himself to us on weekends to tour our home during the construction phase and addressed our questions and concerns. Julie attends most meetings with granite and tile companies, cabinet companies, rug companies, etc. and assists in the selection process (a huge relief for someone who is not so skilled in the decorating department!). Even now that our home is complete, Billy still visits us on occasion to make sure we are happy and to see if there are any issues that need to be addressed. We love our home and would recommend Linnane Homes to anyone looking for an experienced, quality builder with a heart!

First of all I would like to Thank Linnane homes for the excellent job on my beautiful house. I had been looking a good builder to build my new custom home in one the challenging communities in the Waxhaw, NC area. Luckily I met Billy and we had a very informal discussion about my requirements, Billy came up with a plan, showing uniqueness about Linnane homes, advises for the client, execution plan and expected furniture move in date. I was thrilled to see that detail at the entry level, we were so impressed and selected him on the spot to build it. Billy is a very dedicated, professional and trust worthy builder in the Waxhaw area. He was consistently keeping the building process status updated, and his communication on the status to me really helped me a lot, and the house was built on time with a quality. Also I need to thank Julie for the great work on Brick/Stone selection, interior selection, cabinet selection, granite selection etc, were so happy to see that they had so many choices to select in all level. She was so motivated in putting clients need first in her list always. Overall the house is so beautiful and we are enjoying; and If I need to build a another one in the future I will definitely hire Linnane Home. Again Thank you!

We hired Billy from Linnane Homes to build our home for us and we would 100% recommend him without hesitation. Extremely professional and meticulous on details. He is a perfectionist so he always made sure each step was done correctly. Honest and up front with all costs ... no surprises. Our price of the home was what he quoted us in the beginning. All in all - the house did not require any upgrades as his orginal price included everything we wanted. When we did add on a few items such as painting a different paint color in each room, he gave us a "more than fair" price. He built our home in a green and efficent manner. He sealed up our house so tight -- it keeps the warmth in when it is cooler outside and the heat out during the summer. Energy efficient lighting were installed. Extra insulation was used. He did not cut corners. Our utility bills are proof that it is working. Billy kept us up to date on all progress while building and kept the contractors on schedule. The design and layout of the house is very classic and upscale. He put in little details that made it more unique and custom - some items that we would have never thought of doing. He treated our home like it was his home. Building a new home, in a new state, can be very stressful. Billy Linnane was very patient and flexible with all our requests and changes. (i believe we drove him crazy at one point.) Very accessible if you needed to speak with him. He is very focused on making his client happy by building a custom, well-designed home. Which by the way -- we are very happy ! Billy has a lot of integrity and honesty that is not found a lot these days. Anyone can build a house for you - but Billy Linnane can build you a home.
