Terrible workmanship. Subs out work. Did not complete the carpentry work as originally stated. Has limited knowledge of modern building practices.

Mike was great to work with. Excellent job well done. He replaced exterior rotting trim, replaced main boards over garage door, Tyvek wrapped under old vinyl siding and did it right. Was very thorough and pleasant to work with. Good communication and very quality work!

I hired MGM carpentry and Mike to build a custom surround for my gas fireplace. It was one of the best, if not the best, experiences I’ve ever had with a contractor. He responded promptly from the first contact, providing information, pricing and scheduling. He stayed in touch before the project began right up to the begging of the project. He has good communication skills and does what he says. He has exceptional carpentry skills, is very creative and checked in, provided information, and included me in every step of the project while staying on schedule and budget. Would hire him again in a minute. Hire him, if you want a straight shooter who will do an excellent job.
