My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Celebrating 20 years of custom-built homes in Grand County, Colorado. Millworks Construction Services, LLC is a custom home builder based in Winter Park, Colorado. As a general contractor, we delight homeowners with quality workmanship and new home construction management precision. Bringing together more than 30 years of construction experience from across the country, our partners joined forces in 2000 to form our contracting company and begin helping people from around the country create their mountain-living dreams within Grand County – and beyond. From Winter Park to Kremmling, our team is available for all aspects of home construction, including: project management coordination with the lender, designer, and architect, budget management, blueprint design, permit processing, quality workmanship, and full custom home builds. While many people choose for their dream house to be a log home nestled in the Rocky Mountain woods, our team is also skilled at crafting standard construction or post and beam homes. We are available to work with you on home remodeling and commercial projects as well. Millworks Construction Services in Winter Park is the worst company out there! Our family had nothing but problems with this company. We hired them to complete our log home after the log company set the logs, up to the point of getting a CO. They said it would be an 8 month build and provided us with a cost estimate. After 2 years and more than $100K over their bid we finally told them we couldn’t afford another penny of their unbelievable overcharges and we finished the rest by ourselves! They didn’t even know what they needed to complete to get a CO! Besides that, which was enough, a lot of their work and the work of their sub-contractors was shoddy and incomplete. We had to finish or redo a number of things to fix their screw-ups! They even failed the framing inspection and then charged us to fix the things that they were failed on!! Several of their sub-contractors were not licensed, including two plumbers that they hired, the first one made off with $10,000.00 for about $3000.00 worth of work and Millworks made us eat that, they didn’t take responsibility for their own screw-up with that either!! I would not recommend them to anyone especially if you are building a true log home.

Billy, Chuck, Karla and the entire Millworks staff is amazing. Managing a long distance build was NO PROBLEM with them. We had pictures sent regularly and whenever we were in town we felt as though we were their only clients! They were quick to answer questions, helped with our budget/selection process, and became friends in the process. Oh, and they build a truly beautiful home, too!

We highly recommend Millworks Construction. They built our vacation home in Colorado. The quality of work was excellent as was the professionalism of the staff. Everyone we worked with was friendly and accommodating. If we were to build another home in Colorado, we would definitely use Millworks Construction.

One of the best home builders in the Winter Park area. The team is communicative, on schedule, and on budget. Quality craftsmanship and selections. I'd recommend the Millworks team to anyone looking for their dream custom home to be built in Grand County.
