While watching her husband develop MDA's acquisition and contract development process, Denise Magers had the idea to start her own federal contracting firm and claim him as her own. She started MPIC, Inc. in 2016. Since then, MPIC has acquired contracts with MDA and other federal agencies. MPIC, Inc. is a Small Business Administration (SBA), Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned Small Business (EDWOSB).
