Matt Ness is a excellent contractor and a skilled and talented craftsman who takes pride in a job well done. I have a Lakehouse that is over 100 years old and I have hired Matt for multiple jobs over the last 5 years. (That in itself speaks volumes. I’ve owned several houses and have hired several contractors. Matt is the only contractor I’ve rehired). He has remodeled a bathroom and kitchen. He has also added an addition consisting of 1 1/2 bathrooms. They are absolutely stunning and could be featured in several home magazines. Other projects he completed included railing replacement, window and door replacements, and siding. Since the house is so old he never knows what challenges may be involved and there have been plenty. He has met each one with clever solutions. His work has always exceeded my highest expectations. He is an honest man and I trust his judgement and expertise. I live 2 hours from the Lakehouse so I was not able to be on site for most of the work. I was never concerned. I give Matt the highest possible recommendation.

We hired Ness Construction LLC to build our modified Cape Cod style house and attached garage. Matt guided us through the process from start to finish. He suggested modular construction with some significant design modifications to meet our requirements. All through the planning and construction phases he offered suggestions for improvements or fixes that added substantially to the character and usability of the finished home. We valued his old-school pride in workmanship combined with his experience in the latest materials and building techniques. Good communication throughout the project ensured our expectations were met within a reasonable budget.
