I had an incredible experience working with Primocon on the construction of my 4,000 square foot traditional style home on a beautiful ravine lot. From start to finish, the builder was incredibly transparent, diligent, and professional. They truly went above and beyond to ensure that every detail of my home was perfect. Robert and his team at Primocon exceeded our expectations in building our dream cottage on the shore of a beautiful lake in Perry Sound, Ontario. The cottage, with its spacious 2300 square feet, 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and a Muskoka room, was designed and built to perfection. We were particularly impressed with the attention to detail and high-quality materials used, such as the light grey Hardy board siding, with contrast black window frames and interlocked driveway. The large cedar deck out back, facing the lake, is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the stunning views. The deck even smells of fresh wood after a rain! We highly recommend Rob, Jim and Primocon for anyone looking to build a new home or cottage.

In June 2021 I inherited a house from my uncle. We didn't know what to do with it, it was big and in a good neighborhood, but it was literally falling apart. A friend from work recommended Robert from Primocon, he's a custom home builder/renovator based out of Toronto. I had a long pleasant conversation with Rob and invited him to meet me in the house so he could give me some ideas. He showed up ready, he consulted with his architect before coming and knew everything about the house and what we can and can’t do with it, it was an easy choice and I signed with him that evening. The plan was to completely gut it and replace pretty much everything. I let his designer make all the decisions and the house turned out so great, we ended up moving in and putting our own house for rent. The company is very good, they have an honest and transparent payment structure and very professional trades. Thank you, Rob, Jim, Steve, Dave and all the other guys who worked so hard to make this house look so good.

As a Realtor, we see all kinds of things in the Toronto market. We sold a home by Primocon Custom Homes a few years back and our buyer is still thrilled. The home inspector said it was one of the best built homes he had ever inspected and the builder went out of his way to show us how well work was done even in areas of the attic a buyer wouldn't typically look. Robert, is a great builder and good guy. We were so impressed with him that we have frequently recommended him as well as bid on other homes he has built. He builds a fabulous product and stands behind the product he builds! When I get to build a home, he is the builder I will use.

Aside from doing the job as expected, PRIMOCON was on time and on budget, they were always available and were always willing to go out of their way and put forth suggestions to resolve the inevitable issues that come up during any big project. Simply put- they take pride in their work and it shows. That rare combination of quality workmanship with excellent personal communication and commitment to the job. Brought them back for a second job- and will for the next.

Over the past eight months we have been undergoing an extensive remodel. In that time we have dealt with three different contractors. The only company that we refer to anyone is Primo Contracting. Jim has extensive knowledge of the local building codes. This has made our inspections go very smoothly and has given us peace of mind about quality workmanship. Quality is a priority for this company. Already referred Primocon to our parents for a second floor addition – they are in good hands.

I'm writing this review for Primo Contracting for the waterproofing and tuckpointing the performed on my house last year. I had a very good experience with them. Their people are professional and they tried their best to not damage any of the landscaping or features of the house that could be avoided. My neighbor recently had his done by his relative and it was a completely different experience for him. He told me he wished he had hired the company I used.

Primo contracting did many upgrades to our house throughout the last couple of years. New roof, replaced all the flooring, new kitchen, new steps for the front porch, repainted the entire house inside and out. They are very easy to deal with and know their stuff. Their guys come when they promise to come and clean up after themselves. No complaints, I happily recommend them to anyone I know who needs renovation or construction.

Had the best experience with Primo Contracting recently. Used them for the underpinning , basement lowering and other concrete work. As Robert PRIMOCON’s project manager recommended, we installed heated flooring in our cold basement as well. The timing was perfect since we were doing all the digging and old concrete removal anyways. Primo Contracting lowered the basement 30” , installed all heating pipes and poured new concrete. Installed engineered hardwood flooring, added a couple of rooms, new drywall, baseboards and painted everything using new durable paint. The whole project took less than three months. The finished basement looks so spacious now and super warm. The underpinning was very professionally done. Finished spare bedroom and a gym with sauna looks great. I will definitely be recommending PRIMOCON to everybody.
