Rick and team were great to work with through our home remodel. Like any project in an old home we had a few hurdles, (with the biggest being the pandemic) and Red Phoenix was a great partner to think/work through issues to get to resolution. Home came out great. Good attention to detail.

Red Phoenix came highly recommended and we are extremely happy and satisfied with the with the windows, sliding door and deck they installed for us. The best thing about Red Phoenix was the communication on the project from the start of the job to the end. Pat was extremely responsive to all questions and inquires. He took down our list of projects, offering suggestions we never thought of and finding cost-effective solutions to expensive challenges. Red Phoenix construction company is the best! this company's communication with its customers is excellent. From start to finish they communicated the details of the process for my deck job, which, as a customer, provides a lot of security as to what is going on. Patrick always returned communications and answered questions about the project. He would periodically come to the sight to make sure all was going well. I had two excellent, professional carpenters ( Brian and Ryan) who were always clean, respectful, skilled, and surprisingly quiet with their tools in their work throughout construction on my deck. The finished product is absolutely beautiful and solidly built. I have already had positive reactions to the detailing and craftsmanship from visitors. I would highly recommend this company to others for its desire to to be fair and produce a quality project for its customers. Thank you Red Phoenix for such a positive experience; I will call you again for any future house project, for sure.

We recently had Red Phoenix remodel our kitchen as well as add an addition upstairs with a master bathroom and laundry room/closet. I would highly recommend Red Phoenix for any construction project. The kitchen was completely redesigned with an open concept layout which required removing a load bearing wall and chimney. The crew always showed up prompt and ready to work. Everyone was extremely professional and always willing to answer any questions. It was obvious that this was not just a job for the carpenter as his attention to detail and quality of work was exceptional. Pat went above and beyond throughout the entire project and would always keep us updated with the next steps. There were no hidden surprises, everything stayed on budget and matched the estimate. Any additional work items, requested by us, were accommodated and estimated accurately. Pat would go out of his way to save money so we could put it towards additional items on our wish list.

Professional, accommodating, and knowledgable. They completed a small kitchen and bath install in a small office for us and did excellent work. Great communication, always ran things by me to make sure it was what we wanted. Punchlist was very small - because they paid attention to the details throughout - but everything was taken care of promptly and expertly. Hope we can work together again soon.

Really great experience with Red Phoenix! The workers were truly nice people and even more importantly true craftsmen. Always on time and gave 100% each day. Cleaned up at the end of each day like they had never been there. I am pretty particular and I can honestly say that these guys did a fantastic job. I absolutely recommend RF without reservation.

Updated review: When we hired Red Phoenix originally, the company's principal stressed that they would follow-up a year later to correct any warranty issues that may have developed. We've had contractors tell us that before, but this was the first time our contractor was proactive and thorough in completing the warranty work. In addition, we hired RedPhoenix to do some new work including the design and installation of a large sliding door between two rooms. There were some weird space constraints but RPC came up with a brilliant, gorgeous solution. Other items (installation of new window, diagnosis of some tricky leaks, new roof installation), etc. were executed perfectly. Original review from 2016/2017 project: Bottom line: The crew at Red Phoenix are fantastic! They are organized, honest, caring, skilled, hard working, collaborative, smart, superb communicators, and fun to work with. I have worked with over 20 contractors and developers personally and professionally over the past 30 years, and Red Phoenix is the best I've come across. Our story: Last winter, pipes in our house froze/burst while we were away. A week's worth of water destroyed nearly everything in our house. Our regular contractor was booked (fortunately because he wouldn't have been able to handle the complexities we ended up facing). Needing to find someone fast, I looked on Houzz and interviewed a handful of builders from the Boston area. From the initial phone call and meeting, we had a good feeling about Red Phoenix and our lead contact, Patrick O'Toole; Pat was super organized, listened well to our priorities, and assured us they'd support us as we navigated the stressful and confusing insurance process. Over the past 7 months, Pat and Red Phoenix exceeded our hopes. They proved to be great problem solvers, paid attention to the multitude of details while keeping the big picture, budget, and schedule in mind, dealt with surprises (e.g., an expanded project scope by us and subsequent structural and code issues) with grace and patience, and were phenomenally polite (not just with us, but with each other and our neighbors too). What could have been an unhappy/stressful situation (an unplanned and unwanted renovation) turned into an enjoyable experience that has given us a beautiful house that we are truly in love with.
