River Tree Homes just completed a major renovation job on our house. Their level of professionalism and quality of work surpassed our expectations. Communication was open and making adjustments/changes made things run smoothly. Most importantly, his crew maintained the same level of professionalism and truly took pride in their work. We will use them for our next project and have recommended them to our friends. I would give him 10 stars based on his desire to do the job right and not cut corners! Chris Richardson, owner of River Tree Homes is focused on attention to detail and quality workmanship. He is a clear communicator and is one of the friendliest people you will ever meet. We contracted him for an extensive exterior remodel of our 45 year old home based on a referral from a home builder. We did not know him prior. He listened to our goals for the project and met with us several times to make sure his written proposal was all inclusive. He reviewed the contract and payment schedule in detail, the expected schedule for various components of the project, and answered our questions before any work started. In the end there, were no unexpected cost overruns and the quality and appearance of our remodel vastly exceeded our expectations. He communicated with us daily and was on site daily inspecting workmanship of masons, carpenters, painters, electricians, window installers, etc. This remodel comprised the repair and/or replacement of the entire exterior of our home. Brick skirting and front porch were repaired/replaced, all exterior wood and siding was replaced with Hardie Board, front door with side lights and transom were replaced, all windows were replaced with Pella, new gutters were installed, and the back porch was redesigned and screened in. There were also many small details such as design and build of dentil molding, design and build of framing for porch screen, and framing around electrical fixtures, that Chris demonstrated his creative talents. Chris insured to the very end that every detail was right. We cannot say enough positive things about Chris Richardson and River Tree Homes! We hired him a year ago to remodel 3 bathrooms, and they are just beautiful. Our present kitchen project is going just as well! This was a large project, including tearing down walls, completely gutting the kitchen, redoing a fireplace, pantry, floating bookshelves, and the list goes on... Chris and his team are complete professionals down to the last meticulous detail. The site was partitioned off with plastic walls with zipper doors to keep the dust down in the house, and a HEPA filter runs constantly. Chris knew my daughter suffered from allergies to dust and he even placed a smaller filter in her room! Above and beyond our expectations in everything! The work site is also picked up and cleaned every day. We had envisioned what we wanted for this redo, but after Chris came in with his expertise, his creative thoughts and designs, his quality workmanship, and improved our vision so that the project has completely exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend Chris and River Tree Homes.

We are extremely happy and pleased with the incredible and beautiful results. The project was large, adding a wing to our home which included a sun room, full living area – living room, bathroom, kitchenette, bedroom, and walk-in closet – and basement. The resulting addition is exceptional. Chris is the consummate construction professional. He has an extremely deliberate attention to detail, listens intently to desires and concerns, and goes to great pains to explain plans and activities. He is critical of his team’s results, ensuring that everything has been done correctly and beautifully. Chris exceeds expectations, going above and beyond. He took great pains to ensure that the basement was encapsulated and sealed, including installation of a drainage system around and beneath it that moves any moisture away from it.
