My dream home was built by Vantage in 2021. Peter and his crew were awesome. They were always willing to answer any questions or concerns. My home was perfectly and beautifully built, better than I expected. Their special attention to detail was incredible. It was so well built that it stood up to Hurricane Ian with hardly any damage. Damage to the pool cage was the biggest issue and that couldn’t be helped. Vantage Homes tops the list!

Very poor quality workmanship on 2019 build. Windows, bathroom fixtures all faulty. Pool deck pavers sunken over 2" in spots. No water filtration system to prevent constant staining of toilets, and calcium plugging of faucets. No locks on main doors. Can't open windows. Installed improperly. Have a house 95 percent built and the House seems Fine except for a coupe of plumbing problems. Buyer Beware get your own private inspection done Believe but verify. And use a real estate Lawyer So you don’t have to deal with the Builder. Just play it safe a house a house is a huge expense and trusting one person is not smart. Good Luck But always verify.

I created a spreadsheet with about 40 home builders. Vantage Homes came out number one after I interviewed and researched most of them. I wanted a bonded builder, who would allow me to customize the home, within my budget and use my double lot. I felt totally comfortable with Peter upon my first meeting with him. It has been a year since I moved in and the quality of the home is still exceptional. His wife Melanie was lovely and a great help also, she made many trips to Loew’s and Home Depot to pick up special orders and made recommendations for granite, lighting, etc. She even sent me photos once it was painted and the granite installed. It was great to be able to choose my own brand of cabinets, plumbing hardware, tiles etc. I kept track of my choices using a spreadsheet. They were both “good people” that were easy to work with. I met Carl, Charlie and the painter – they were skilled, hardworking and honest too. My 3 bedroom home is modest in size, but feels very roomy due to the high ceilings and open floor plan. Peter also allowed some extra room around the toilet for wheelchair accessibility as I hope to “age in-place”. His move-in date estimate was delayed because he needed to be sure there were no Gopher tortoises on site. Peter always returned text messages promptly. He made it easy to communicate even though I was in Pennsylvania while the home was being built. I highly recommend Vantage Homes.

Moving down from Connecticut to Rotonda Florida. Had the good fortune to meet Peter Ide ,owner of Vantage Homes. He is true custom home builder that will work with you to build your dream home . He is honest, does what he says and then some. If you are buidling a new home in southwest florida Peter is the guy to see

We are delighted with our new home! We felt totally comfortable working with Peter from our very first meeting. He's professional, knowledgeable, honest, and has a wonderful sense of humor. He finished our house on-time and within budget. Peter's wife Mel is also delightful to work with. She was an enormous help with appliances, mirrors, water features and landscaping and our house is even better due to her input. Charley and Carl are Peter's excellent master craftsmen who create the special features included in Vantage Homes models such as the floating ceilings in our home. Our motor home does not talk, but if it did, we are sure it would be singing the praises of its new RV garage! To summarize, we couldn't be happier with our new home and we highly recommend Vantage Homes!

I love my new home built in Rotonda by Vantage Homes. It is a beautiful, one of a kind, custom home. It has custom finish work that is unique, unlike anything in Florida. For a couple of years we had been searching for the perfect home in Rotonda West Florida. We must have looked at over 100 homes already lived in. I just couldn't find one that I LOVED. On the last day of our search before returning home, we stopped one more time at a home that Vantage was hosting as an Open House. We immediately fell in love with the house, but wanted a different property, on a canal. Immediately, Peter Ide asked us what we were looking for, listened, understood, and designed our perfect home on the perfect lot. We could never be happier. He was a blessing to us. His professionalism, quality work, caring personality and willing to help us with our dream go without question. We had built a home before and it didn't come close to the service and love that Peter put into this. Thank you to Peter, Melanie and his entire staff. We love everything.

So far I have spoken to Peter about the possibility of using his services to build our new home. He has been extremely kind and helpful While we plan on interviewing other builders in that area Vantage has made an excellent impression
