We contracted with K. Donavan to stage our 2,600 sq. ft. Southwest Vistas Reno home for market. Natalia was assigned to us and told us they would be able to stage our home in time for listing during Thanksgiving week. Since we signed the contract, Nat has told us they have no furniture available due to a 30,000 square foot home they have staged; the office was taking off for Thanksgiving week so they were short staff to complete our staging; and as our assigned senior designer, she was personally stretched thin driving back and forth from Reno to Fremont, staging a home in California. Nat said despite these challenges, she would scrounge around and find pieces to stage our home. When we went to the site yesterday, we found a hodge podge of different furniture strewn about that were neither proportionately correct for rooms and inconsistent in style. It's 24 hours before a photographer is scheduled and K. Donavan is nowhere to be found. Our real estate agent has tried to reach the owner, Michael; he has not bothered to call her back. We have been told that they are going to fix things but they have stopped short of any real commitment. Basically, a day before photographing the home, we have a sea of greige, garage sale to present to prospective buyers. Nat explains away this design disaster (replete with two candlesticks with thin candles like Mom used to light) as they are not done yet, they want to show how different styles of furniture will work, etc. We are hoping to be able to increase our rating but are not hopeful. Two pictures are attached of over-sized chairs in a small office space and the living room table with random chairs. Note the light fixture and proportions. UPDATE: No change to the rating. Although the company brought additional furniture, it's still a sea of greige with random yellow throw pillows, overstuffed furniture that makes rooms look small, and mismatched furniture styles. The entry way table does not fit the space and looks out of place. Note dated candlesticks at front door. Who would put candlesticks at the front door? More photos attached.

Natalia and her team did a wonderful job outfitting my listing with semi short notice during a time when supplies are sparse due to the pandemic. The home was transformed into a modern, sophisticated, yet comfortable masterpiece. It received a lot of positive feedback and sold quickly.
