Lisa did an absolutely wonderful job decorating my new townhouse - from the basement to the 4th floor rooftop deck ! She took the time to find out what made a house a home for me and carefully chose items that reflected my individual likes and style. She was an excellent communicator throughout the entire process. This whole-house project was completed professionally, efficiently, economically and beautifully !

I first became acquainted with Lisa through a neighbor and decided to contact her based on the positive things I’d heard. Our house was new and pretty quickly Lisa began to gain an appreciation for my taste, and what I was looking for. She has an impeccable eye for style, and what goes together nicely. She also went out of her way to spend extra time picking up pieces that she thought would make additional nice touches. She doesn’t go for just what is most expensive, but instead tries to maximize every dollar , spending more where needed while scaling back on less crucial areas of our home. We have received countless compliments on the decor in our home. She went out of her way to do personal shopping for us as well. She is 100% worth the money (which was reasonable) and then some. On a personal note, I have personally witnessed her going out of her way to help a contractor whom she frequently uses for projects. I include this because I want to emphasize that she is a genuine human being, who wants the best for others, who can also appreciate the value of bringing both beauty and peace to one’s home. My only regret was not contacting her sooner. I am a physician with a young baby and Lisa worked around my schedule, and also made sure to make suggestions that were baby friendly for my home. I really cannot say enough positive things, but I give her my whole hearted outstanding recommendation , no matter what your style or budget. You will not be disappointed.

Review of an excellent make over of my newly purchased condominium by Lisa Philipson. Initially, Lisa was hired by our real estate agent to stage our home for sale in DC and downsize the move to a condo we purchased for our next home. She performed such a masterful job with the DC home that it resulted in multiple offers and a sales price that exceeded our expectations. Like most senior’s we had to downsize to accommodate a new life style. We then needed help at how to make our new apartment a comfortable home that reflected our taste. We asked Lisa to help us make the transition and hired her as a consultant. The project was delayed as my wife succumbed to a lengthy illness, and now I was on my own with no idea how to truly settle into this beautiful condo we had purchased. From paint color selection, placement of art on the walls, to furniture positioning, Lisa is a master at her profession when it comes to what to keep and what must go to transition into smaller spaces. Most importantly, I found Lisa to be immensely kind, caring, and a compassionate professional who used her life's calling to transform my condo into a warm cozy home.
