Stage Hand

Katherine of Stage Hand is a great ally if you want to beautify your house, inside or out. She has an accurate eye for color and for arranging things artistically. She also has the ability to inexpensively tweak things from frumpy to trendy! I thought I needed all new kitchen cabinets. Instead we were able to remove some, stain some and paint some. Now I love my kitchen and we saved a lot of expense. I give her five stars for honoring my requests and delivering something fabulous! Plus, she's a pleasure to work with and be with!

i would give Katherine 5 stars + if I could. She staged my house for sale and she also helped me decorate and make minor repairs at my new home. Katherine listened to what I thought I needed and helped me set priorities, and, most important, she helped me execute our plan. The proof of her good work is that my house was sold the same day it was put on the market.

Katherine Spetner staged our home which we then sold for $3million, even more than we expected! She was able to use a mixture of our existing furniture with items that she sourced. I was impressed how quickly she worked out which furnishings would show our home at its best. Katherine has a great eye for colors and what to include to create the right mood. She arranged repainting of the entire house, electrical work, some plumbing work, garden pruning and power washing of the tennis court. She is a talented designer, hard working and altogether a pleasure to work with!

I was between tenants with my rental home in San Diego. It needed updating. Katherine Spetner of Stage Hands came to my rescue! She looked closely at the weaknesses of the property and came up with really creative solutions. For example she - installed extra masonry and a mantel for the fireplace so it went from awkward to beautiful. - restored some ugly yellowing resin-like bathroom counters using a Canadian product, to provide a new hard finish like white quartz stone. - looked at signs of settlement in the house and suggested replacing the irrigated planters around the house with non-irrigated. Now we have beautiful rocks, gold gravel, grasses and agaves.. and it looks like no more settlement! The work was on time and on budget. I highly recommend Katherine Spetner for all staging and interior needs. I give her a 10 for communication, creativity and hard work!
