Tracie is the utmost professional and absolutely delightful to work with! We contacted her to help with a remodel of our house and she did a phenomenal job! Tracie coordinated with the builders and all the merchants to make sure that the progress stayed on schedule and that all appliances, cabinets, and furniture were delivered and ready for us as needed to complete the project in a timely manner. She also contacted and coordinated with all involved to make sure that everything was going smoothly throughout the project. Trace is very knowledgeable regarding construction and could visualize a plan for us that has opened up and updated our home. From the first day I met Tracie from PTI Design we clicked. In our initial meeting she was prepared and came with ideas. Those ideas matched my own. I worked with PTI Design on a complete remodel of my kitchen (which ran into my family room) – all new cabinets, countertops and appliances. During the entire process, Tracie was helpful, attentive and very responsive. She listened carefully to my desires and quickly got a sense of my style. She even went with me to help pick out tile and counter tops. She worked with my contractor and made sure that the contractor fully understood the installation plan. Overall, it was a pleasure to work with Tracie. I highly recommend her and her expertise. She definitely has an eye for design, and the end result is a breathtaking new kitchen!

Wonderful process and stunning results. After speaking with a number of interior designers who we didn’t feel fully comprehended our vision we were introduced to Tracie Johnson by our General Contractor. It was immediately clear to us that Tracie was the right partner to help guide our kitchen renovation. From the outset, Tracie understood what we wanted to accomplish and presented options throughout the design/selection process. The final structural plan we selected entailed moving some walls and in hindsight it was absolutely the right decision to make. Once the floor plan was decided Tracie guided us on the selection of cabinets, cabinet hardware, tile (amazing backsplash), countertops, faucets, paint colors and all the other details that resulted in a fantastic outcome. Throughout the process Tracie was always available, has access to an astonishing number of high-quality vendors and suggested minor but important modifications as we encountered the inevitable construction issues during the renovation. In addition to technical competence Tracie was truly a pleasure to work with. She brings a level of insight and energy to a project that would be difficult to match much less surpass. If you are looking for a partner to work with and help guide you during a project, I can’t think of anyone more qualified than Tracie. Five stars, hands down.

I am in the design phase of building a new home in the greater Charlotte area and hired Ptidesign at the start of the project. Some friends asked "why spend the money on an interior designer until the house is built" well working with Ptidesign and Traci has allowed us to optimize our footprint, improve room flow and reduce costs. The cost of building has never been higher and Traci has deep knowledge of construction, exterior materials, and all things related to interior. By adding Ptidesign to our dream team we have all decision makers at the table. Architect, Builder and Designer. I believe this will facilitate decision making, better communication and avoid expense redo's because of our lack of knowledge. In addition to having the right skill set to assist with new construction, remodel or interior, Traci is a fantastic person. She is upfront about costs and works hard to be efficient with her time and ours. She is friendly and has great listening skills. I plan to come back and update this review when we are deep into the build process, but for now Traci and Ptidesign and been indispensable to our planning and peace of mind.

Tracie has been a blessing and a gift for us. Moving across country, we were involved in a moving scam and literally lost everything. Overwhelmed with a new home, no furnishings, accessories, artwork or any of the little things that make a house a home, we interviewed several interior designers and found Tracie to be extremely knowledgeable, professional, warm, friendly, and an excellent listener. After our moving experience we wanted to double check that our interpretation and feelings were correct, so we contacted several of her previous customers. Each raved about her and that sealed the deal for us. It has proven to be one of the best decisions we could have made. She is fabulous and if you want and honest, detail oriented. compassionate, designer with an incredible gift for transforming or updating your home just the way you want it, you need not go any further.

As a vendor supplier we love the professional designers. Especially ones like Tracy that are organized, dot every I and cross every T. Very professional and always there to go the extra mile for her clients, industry partners and community.
