Tesha is a modern day decorator with a flair for combining elements from all over her palette of influences. Combining minimalism with an emphasis on good craftsmanship all the while maintaining a timeless yet edgy focus to create unexpected, yet comforting atmospheres. She puts herself in all of her work and finds new inspiration daily by looking to the past, present and future. Colors, contrast and texture are some of the biggest tools that create the unique style that makes up Tesha’s portfolio. Hailing from Cagayan de Oro, Philippines, Tesha was very influenced by her parents’ taste in style. When she moved to New York City at the age of 21, she was immersed in a brand new culture that shaped her even further. Combining old world flavors with modern day thinking, Tesha learned how to realize her visions with various projects including residential and commercial decorating, staging for real estate agents, photoshoots and eventually being featured in Apartment Therapy and Buzzfeed for her work. Focused on executing designs both for aesthetics and functionality, she aims for a timeless, refreshing, distinct and individual look. Meticulously picking furniture and decor, regardless of price, that best reflect the client while achieving a unique visual of the space. She loves incorporating neutral and earthy colors with bold, deep and rich palettes as well as soft and light tones. Tesha continues her journey seeking out new inspirations everywhere to build unique atmospheres and incorporates it into her ever evolving style.
