It was a pleasure working with Vanessa at The Decor Brief! She can take a drab, uninspiring space and turn it into a fun yet timeless work of art. I love how she takes classic ideas and gives them a fresh spin that will last a lifetime.

"If I could put 1000 ❤️ I would!" That's what Vanessa texted us after she saw my husband's sculptures on the wall of our freshly finished remodeled Kitchen and Livingroom. I found Vanessa through Houzz's remodel questionnaire. She lives in the town where the remodel was taking place and I live 6 hours away. I needed a reliable, trustworthy, and committed designer to be where I wasn't. And, someone with an exceptional sense of color and textures who could deal with the whims of retired art teachers. We communicated for 7mos, before meeting face to face, working out layouts, colors, permits, contractors, floors, cabinets, etc. Eventually, once the construction was ready to begin, I moved on site for the duration of the project. Vanessa, my husband and I worked together seamlessly. She listened, considered, and analyzed every request and comment. She responded and made things happen until absolute completion. She did not shy away from the tough stuff of negotiating with contractor's mistakes, repairs and expenses. Thorough, attentive, dedicated and always available - "If I could put 1000 ❤️ I would!" Vanessa is the one you want!

Vanessa was easy to work with and did a fantastic job. She is very prompt and always did what she said she would do. I love what she did and she was always conscientious about price. I am thrilled and would highly recommend her for any decorating job.

Vanessa is amazing. She has incredible vision and knows how to get even impossible projects done. She gets to know you and what your taste is and comes up with great ideas while still keeping to your budget. I can't say enough good things about her. Her work ethic is like nobody I know.

Vanessa just did an excellent job with decorating my chalets. She went above and beyond my expectations and I can't recommend her enough to anyone interested in re-decorating their place. She understood exactly what I was after and she came up with some ideas and suggestions that were just perfect. Her decorating skills are second to none.
