So glad I found Facet 14! Justin came highly recommended, and I loved what I had seen of his work in Oklahoma Magazine. Found him on Houzz and set up a meeting to see how he compared to the other designers I had interviewed. Hired him pretty much immediately, because he lived up to the hype in every way. I knew he had a Masters from the best design school in New York, but had no clue what a big deal that really was. Until he showed me all the software he uses (think 3-d sketches just like you see on HGTV), and his portfolio of work! WOW. His pricing was on par with all of the other top local designers I had interviewed, and none of them could offer his access to the latest and greatest design tools. And trust me, it makes a HUGE difference to be able to visualize the spaces you are designing. I get to go by the house every day and see them building the design we worked so hard on. We are on schedule to move into our dream home in a few months. I can easily say hiring Justin was the best decision we ever made-and there's been ALOT of decisions:) My parents and brother were so impressed with his work they hired him too! Simply put, he's the best of the best.

Justin and I began our adventure with a frank discussion of scope and budget. He took my living room from cluttered and tired to beautifully modern. The suggestions Justin made were all appreciated as I am not a designer and had no idea how to take my room to the next level. For instance, I was not thinking of paint and he was right-it made my room brighter and more welcoming. His design eye is amazing. Justin was available and professional throughout the entire project. He responded quickly to my questions. We stayed in the budget and on the timeline.

Justin and his team at Facet 14 have been a dream to work with in designing our home. Justin's eye for design is impeccable. He pushed us just beyond our comfort level and the results are beautiful. Justin's ability to listen to wants/desires for our home, attention to budget and his execution is what makes him the best designer we have worked with. We will continue to work with him on all future projects mainly because of his talent but also because of the pleasure of our working relationship.

I hired Justin/Facet14 to completely redesign my junior 1BR apartment in Chelsea, NYC, and the results exceeded my every expectation! I highly recommend Facet14 to anyone looking for design assistance or custom light fixtures. Justin faced some challenges in my apartment-- namely, its size (only 380sf). From day one, Justin approached the project with creative and cost-effective solutions to save/maximize space. He adjusted my apartment layout, replacing my pocket-door with custom, 9-foot sliding doors; he found square-footage by exposing 2 additional brick walls; he found wall-space for a small second closet in my bedroom area; he found me unique pieces of furniture that not only made sense in terms of space, but also reflected my tastes. His gorgeous custom shelving units and custom expandable dining table fit the apartment perfectly, and were no more expensive than what I would have paid for prefabricated pieces from a retail store... The list goes on and on! Justin also designed, built, and installed several custom light fixtures for me at a very reasonable price, including the main fixture in my living room and one in my bedroom. These fixtures are the focal point of my apartment, and would have cost me several thousand dollars each had I purchased them from a lighting specialty store. In terms of his oversight on the project, Justin was the consummate professional. I have a demanding travel schedule due to my job, and Justin accommodated all of our meetings at my convenience--nights, early mornings, weekends, etc. He also personally oversaw every delivery and installation. For instance, when I had my heaters replaced (to save space), he found the plumber, negotiated pricing, coordinated scheduling with my building, and oversaw the entire installation process. Justin was a pleasure to work with, and truly turned my tiny apartment into my dream home!
