With degrees in Architecture and Fine Arts from The Rhode Island School of Design, Amédée's career has included tenure in the design studios of Frank Gehry, Eric Owen Moss, Richard Meier, Pierce-Allen, Steven Sclaroff and Thomas O’Brien/Aero Studios. Amédée designs spaces for the emotional experience and narrative, in which a personal story can be communicated. What people ultimately remember about a thoughtfully designed space is how it made them feel; color and light play a huge part. Amédée revels in the transition from uptown to downtown, High Society to Outsider Artist, as long as a genuine feeling is created. She now designs privately for a diverse client roster including Courtney Love, Charlie Rose, Cynthia Coudert, MC Williams and Hollis Wilder of Food Network.
