Amy has been my interior designer for over 12 years. The most recent project was a total renovation of 3 bedrooms. Amy is very detail oriented, organized, she provides great selections, and I have been pleased with the outcome of everything she has done in my home.

Extremely talented and able to tackle any project. She was instrumental in designing our home from the first meetings with architecture to finishing decorating touches. She helped us create a one of a kind home that fit our personality.

Amy worked with us on the architectural drawings of our new home, helped with the interior finishes and room/furniture design, and is still helping us make our home beautiful. Amy is an amazing talented designer. She assisted with space planning, electrical layouts as well as lighting, carpet, plumbing fixtures and furniture selections for our new construction custom home. i can’t say enough great things about her unique style and her ability to absolutely transform a space. Amy is currently our designer for a complete home remodel. This is the second large project we have done in collaboration with Amy. I am a general contractor and have worked with Amy/AMW on dozens of projects for over a decade. In my opinion, she is one of the best in the business and I have been continuously referring my clients to her, always with exceptional results.

3 years ago we built a white, modern house on Longboat Key, in Florida. Upon it's completion we began searching for interior designers in the Sarasota area. Because the house was very modern, we wanted to "warm up" the interior with furniture that retained the modern look, yet added a warmer feel. We interviewed 5 Sarasota interior designers. We were not happy with any of them. That's when I said "why don't we just contact Amy Weinstein , who did the interior of our Michigan home. We can fly her down. It's just a plane ticket?" Although our home in Michigan is more traditional, I figured that "talent is talent" regardless of the style of furniture. Turned out to be a great idea. Amy flew down, spent the weekend at our Florida house, did measurements, and discussed her ideas. When she went home to Michigan she picked out various furniture pieces, fabrics and accessories. We worked together via the internet and saw her once at her office in Birmingham when we returned for a family function. A number of months later, when the furniture was all warehoused, she flew back and did an "installation" in one day while we spent the day in Naples. When we came home in the evening and saw the finished product, it was a revelation! EXACTLY what we had hoped for. Everyone who walks in comments at how beautiful (and comfortable) it all is. If I could give Amy 6 stars I would.

We first used Amy 10 years ago when we downsized to our empty nester home. She and her partner designed every room making it a beautiful transitional home which received many awards. We loved living and entertaining there. We have now downsized to two condos, one in Michigan and the other in Florida. The Florida condo has been stripped to the studs and Amy has designed the innovative layout to take advantage of the water views and soaring ceilings. She has given us the courage to go contemporary which is so much fun for a tropical home. Additionally, she is furnishing our new condo in Michigan. This pied-a-terre will be a mid century marvel. Amy is a true professional with extensive knowledge of designers and product. She interprets our needs into beautiful living spaces. She is budget conscious mixing high end furnishings with budget friendly options. She has a wonderful sense of size and scale. We make no decisions without her advise.

I have worked with Amy and AMW Design Studio for many years. She originally did my home several years ago. Over the years she has helped me with several projects and recently furnished my winter home in another state. I could not have imagined hiring or working with any other designer. We worked with Amy from start to completion of building our new home. She helped with refining the architectural plans and designing the entire home. She maintains expertise in all aspects of this process. She also helped us to furnish our home, which was completed impeccably and in a very timely manner. Amy worked with our builder on the renovation of our 1930's home. She helped with every aspect of the project from design to decorating. She was easy to work with and respected our budget. Amy helped us build and design our condo. Because we hired her at the start of the construction process, she provided changes in the builders plans that made the final design of our condo vastly superior to what was being offered. She also designed built ins and purchased furniture that was both in our budget and what was needed to make our condo comfortable and beautiful. I'm convinced that the interior design of out condo would increase our selling price, should we ever choose to sell it.
