We help our clients build beautiful projects by being consistent, communicative and thorough. Our design process focuses on producing beautiful, calm, functional spaces that reflect our clients’ personalities. Our commitment is to understand their needs and to elevate the quality of their surroundings. Since 2003, we have been producing designs that enhance the quality of space. We work with a team of talented contractors who excel at bringing designed projects to life. Should you choose your own contractor, our team has been refined to provide the architectural support to help you build your project efficiently. We provide construction documents, scheduling, purchasing, project management and most importantly consistent communication throughout the project. ADELE LAPOINTE Principal/Lead Designer After an extended period working with HOK & Urbana Architects; Adele refined her residential eye in San Francisco, designing exclusively for Poliform | Varenna. With over 20 years of process-oriented design, she has the unique ability to bring a client-personalized aesthetic to her projects. Wick Design

I've worked with AND for many years, in many different capacities - as a colleague, a collaborator on projects, and as a personal client of theirs. They are not only creative and talented, they truly do care about what they are creating for their clients. As a design professional I know well how Interior design and Construction projects can be stressful and challenging for most people. Dave and Adele are extremely good partners to have throughout this process. They honestly care, they do beautiful work, and they are lovely people in general. What more could you ask for!

Adele and Dave at AND Design & Construction did an amazing job with our remodel project and literally transformed the top floor living space. Adele was great at listening to our initial vision for the space, and then taking it to a whole other level. She incorporated things that we did not initially consider ourselves, as well as provided us with options when things didn't work out due to structural limitations, etc. Dave and his construction team were top notch professionals - knowledgeable, reliable and highly skilled. Even the SF City permit process was unexpectedly easy - much credit due to Dave and his team. Overall, we couldn't be more pleased with the outcome and are enjoying the much improved space!

A(dele) and D(ave) are simply wonderful. Remodeling is a huge decision, other than purchasing the home itself, it is one of the big-ticket items in life for many people. This was the first serious time for me, involving a full gutting of the house and living elsewhere for a year: new heating, plumbing, wiring, and a variety of structural changes (new windows, skylights, and bracing). By and large all work was completed on time and, when it wasn't I was provided with advance warning explaining the reasons why. Dave is also exceptionally patient, understanding how difficult some of the decisions were to make. The end result is beautiful: more light, less maintenance, and a joy to live in.

We've worked with Adele and Dave many times over the years. What amazes me is we've done both commercial and residential and always walk away happy and satisfied with our projects. Adele is a great designer and gets our style. Dave is always there to make sure the work goes well and more importantly when there are surprises he makes sure we are taken care of. Our kitchen is on their website which Adele designed.... its timeless.

We worked with AND to fix a leak in our bathroom. They were extremely professional, communicated every detail along the way, and executed the job flawlessly. There was almost no indication that they had been in our house as the took meticulous care to clean-up and leave no trace behind. They often work on high-profile jobs, but gave us the same attention and professionalism they would give any of their clients. Highly recommend them!

We are currently working with Dave and Adele of AND Design + Construction on a complete rebuild of our hillside home in San Francisco. Going in, we had basically zero knowledge of residential construction and presented them with a painfully long list of questions about what the project might involve, its potential cost and schedule, possible stumbling blocks--and they answered every single question with patience and clarity. One of their first suggestions was to reduce the biggest uncertainty--the structural engineering issue--and they brought in an engineer who was great to work with and was able to explain his analysis using plain English (he also provided a substantial technical report). We're now working with Dave and Adele on the design and have been delighted with their concepts. They've very adept at incorporating everything on our new home wish list while also introducing ideas to us that will make our future home more comfortable and stylish than we'd ever imagined! Working with AND has really been a pleasure and we feel incredibly fortunate to have partners in this project who are so expert, responsive, and fun.

David and company did work on my beach house. His attention to finish work is unmatched. He is terrific in that regard. I was so impressed that i introduced him to many of my clients who needed projects done. As a real estate agent for Sotheby's International Realty, my job relies on referring the best because my clients have the highest standards in the world. David and team always returned glowing remarks and some of my clients are very hard to please. Along with the talents of his wife (designer), one of their core strengths are coming up with creative ideas to solve porblems that come up in construction. The concepts and renderings are amazingly helpful. I can recommend this dynamic team without hesitation.
