Nancy is helping me remodel a 45 year old house. I have downsized DRAMATICALLY as she did herself and I have found her personal experience with all this entails invaluable. Nancy is a genuine professional and is easy and friendly to work with besides! I am trying to change my "style" to match my new smaller more minimalist home and blending my husband's slick style with my comfy one is no problem for her! I hired Nancy to redo my children's bedroom into sophisticated guest rooms. Nancy was incredibly easy to work with. I'm a no-nonsense kind of person and she easily worked into my kind of operation. Nancy DelSanto from askDECOR was so incredibly valuable to me, because she guided me thru the thought process in a way that resulted in a look that is exactly what I wanted - but didn't know how to achieve on my own. Interestingly enough, she suggested things that were quite different than what I would have gone with - had I not gotten her expert advice. Suffice it to say that I'm really glad I didn't invest this money in my own ideas! She really knows what she is doing, and she listens intently to the client. It's a real art to bring a client's thoughts together with her awesome design background to come up with a final product. I would highly recommend using Nancy. Truly a mega talent.

I have had the pleasure of working with Nancy Del Santo as part of her design team for almost four years, specifically providing art consulting services to her clients. This allows me to observe the working relationships she has with her clients, as well as interfacing with her and her clients. One of the most important aspects of a good client/designer relationship is how comfortable the client is with the designer. Nancy does just that. She has a fantastic rapport with her clients which gives them the confidence they need to make design decisions and feel secure in her guidance. Her designs are not only stunning but her spaces are fresh,comfortable and so livable. Teaming with her to bring art into her client's home is really a joy because she gives great direction, works quickly and best of all she has a fine aesthetic.

Nancy's use of color is fantastic. As an example, she is not afraid of using a bold wall color! And when she does, it really works! It is a very difficult aspect of the design process to get right, but when done well can make a space stand out in a way that is fun and alive! Picking the right wall color is an art in and of itself. Many people stick to the most basic possible wall colors, because it is so difficult to use something colorful, that really pops and yet really works with the entire scheme of things. I think Nancy coordinates color masterfully, as she does it so seamlessly, as she does with all the elements on her projects. Bradford Stewart

I originally hired Nancy Del Santo to help us combine and coordinate pieces from my mother's home into our home beginning in January 2012. Before we could get started, we had an electrical fire in our house on January 8, 2012. Thankfully, we lost no belongings of consequence, but we needed to move out for 6 1/2 months while our home was restored from top to bottom - new roof framing, new roof, all new electrical, some new walls, all new flooring, and new paint inside and out. The day following the fire, Nancy was able to come in, see past the destruction, and propose changes that have really improved the value and livability of our home. We were able to reconfigure one son's bedroom to enlarge it and make the space more usable, change an unpermitted 1/2 bath into a beautiful 3/4 bath, replace smoke damaged window coverings with gorgeous wood shutters, and transform our family room with hardwood floors and a wall of bookshelves and cabinets with a hidden storage room behind – her design. Nancy guided us every step of the way as we chose flooring, light fixtures, moldings, balustrades, paint, bathroom fixtures, and so much more. She accomplished the merger of my mother's pieces with our own by helping us choose beautiful new fabrics and a great upholsterer, and she guided picture placement and all those important extras. In addition to her great eye, we so appreciate Nancy's professional approach and efficiency. Every minute we spent together was time well spent. We are so thrilled with the outcome and know we will enjoy our "new" home for many years to come. We look forward to working with Nancy on future projects.
