Sharon Blaustein, founder and principal designer of B Interior, gained her experience working for noteworthy architectural firm ODA-Architecture, where she worked with the interior design team on a diverse collection of prominent residential projects in New York City . She is an allied member of the ASID and holds an Associate’s Degree of Applied Science in Interior Design from The New York School of Interior Design. Sharon served a member of the Board of Architectural Review of Scarsdale, NY.

Working with Sharon Blaustein and B Interior on our Scarsdale home remodel was an absolute delight. Right from the start, she just "got" what we were aiming for. Her talent in interior design is unparalleled. I really appreciated how she'd take our ideas and run with them, but also give us a nudge when we might've been heading down a not-so-great path. Sharon and her team were thorough, diligent, and extremely professional. They listened to our vision and worked with us over to find our ideal layout, finishings, and aesthetic. We were building from scratch, and it was a daunting process, but with Sharon's guidance and touch, we are overjoyed with the final product. One thing we didn't expect was there are so many things you just don't think about, but she's got the attention and experience to cover all the unknowns, right down to the minutiae of the job. Our entire home is well-connected and cohesive from an aesthetic perspective, and even when we had slightly different takes on the feel of a room vs her own vision, she made it work. And made it work not just for the room but as it relates to the overall flow of the home. She was always available to discuss and meet making us feel like we were in great hands.

We had the most wonderful experience redesigning and renovating our apartment with B Interior. Sharon is lovely to work with and her flexible approach helped us through an extremely stressful timeframe (fire damage, covid etc). Coming into our meeting we thought we had a fairly good sense of the possibilities of what we could do, however Sharon and her team saw well beyond that. Sharon exceeded our expectations by bringing to life a vision that we hadn't imagined prior to our discussions with her. Her contractors worked within our budget to provide beautiful custom millwork which allowed us the budget to indulge in Italian furniture pieces. Mixed with practical items with an element of whimsy and fun for the children's rooms, we were all very happy with the outcome. We love our newly designed apartment and highly recommend B Interior.

We hired B Interior to design the amenity space in one of our largest project downtown that included a tenant’s lobby, lounge, gym and Corridors. They transformed the spaces to inspiring, modern and welcoming spaces and we couldn’t have been more happy with the results. Sharon and her team also worked on all of our model apartments in our different buildings. Sharon and her team provided great service and inspiring design.

I was impressed with the interior design of a project I photographed for a client of mine, that project was designed by B interior. It was an high-end property on sale for millions in Tribeca and the firm selling the apartments made sure to hire someone very valuable for the gig, I had the luck to work with B interior in other occasions after that and I was always very impressed by their incredible design sensibility and how easily they coordinate everything. They are very well organized, very professional and simply lovely to work with. I highly recommend them.

After researching several firms, my husband and I decided on B Interior for our New York apt. Even though we live in Baltimore, B Interior made it very easy to work with them. They understood our style from the beginning even though we weren't the best at articulating it. And most importantly, they stayed within the budget. B Interior was extremely professional in helping us design our formal living room and outdoor patio seating and eating areas. Sharon's designs are clean, modern and functional, with a unique twist. Sharon combines well-known European brands with NY and other US boutique designers (that you can't see in other homes). We enjoyed her style and are currently working with her on our third project, a new home office space.

After photographing many of B Interior's Designs, I have been able to see how the team is great at solving space and design issues in a variety of odd and unique spaces, while elevating the style of an interior with a modern aesthetic that makes even the most dated space feel luxurious. I've seen the team work with a variety of budgets and timelines to create great designs on deadlines needed for commercial and residential development sales and new building openings. When hired for staging designs, they've sold multi-million dollar penthouses in NYC with creative and alternative uses of space that make spaces and floor plans more memorable and interesting. They've even turned a very dated lobby into something fabulous and luxurious. B Interior is an excellent combination of creative design and detailed execution- every space they've created feels impressive.

I would like to recommend our amazing and talented designer, Sharon Blaustein, from B Interior, to anyone looking to hire a great designer. Sharon and her team helped us renovate our upper east apt. Sharon really listens to her clients and has an eye for details. What struck me right away with Shron was her genuine excitement and great vision around the different possibilities, she brought a tremendous amount of creativity and an abundance ideas, layouts and colors for us to pick from. Not only is Sharon creative, she is also amazing to work with. She is incredibly patient and has great communication, listening and organizational skills which kept us on time and on budget. She was always willing to go the extra mile to make sure everything was handled properly while ensuring the design was something that we would love.
